I go to this place at least once a month (I live across the road), which is about 1 meter from the…read morefront door. Unfortunately, Leuven is not blessed with an array of food, as its more general attention is drawn to the beer scene. So, let me say that I've been to this place at least 30x and I've probably eaten every item of sashimi, nigiri, and half of the rolls. I still go back. It's cheap. And you can drink Stella for 2 euros while you fill your gullet with fresh fish for 5. No kidding. The à la carte is cheap. They can be really busy some weekends, so reserve a place, or prepare to wait. Oh and the people are super nice, despite the busy scene.

Each serving of sushi comes with 8 pieces, and their menu suggests to order 2 servings of sushi for each person. Did so while very hungry and it was extremely filling. One friend ordered one large donburi bowl and the other friend ordered a small donburi bowl + one sushi roll (they both also claim they were very hungry) and those combinations were very filling too! We tried the salmon/avocado donburi bowls: the bowl was prepared with fresh salmon and plenty of flavor in the rice as well (vinegar and sesame oil?). We ordered the Spicy Pablo and the Philly Roll (if you like cream cheese in your sushi) and both were delectable. Service was good; if you dine in, they'll bring your order to your table for you on these bamboo trays if you order sushi. Would recommend this place to anyone who is craving sushi in Brussels! It's about a 10-13 minute walk away from Grand Place, so well worth the trip. Accepts credit card without a minimum purchase amount!

The miso has way too many toppings and was surprisingly salty (usually that is a thing in the states, but I found it here as well). The make your own was convenient, as I am trying to go more pescatarian or vegan with my foods, so I could easily pick what went into my roll. It was pretty good and overall, a nice lunch spot.
