He listened carefully, took my phone, asked me to wait. About 5 minutes later he brought my phone back, said he had given port a good cleaning and promised me it would work fine. He charged $20. My iPhone has worked perfectly since then! It had been driving me crazy before, now it's good as new! He could have easily told me to come back in an hour, done the 5 minute cleaning, and charged me $100, I wouldn't have known the difference. Immediately without even opening the console they tried to convince me the whole disc drive needs to be replaced and wanted to charge me 140$. Now I don't know much about repairing consoles (apparently neither do they), but I knew this didn't sound right so I told them I believed it just needed to be cleaned inside. They told me I was wrong and that the disc drive needs to be replaced- mind you, they still hadn't even looked at it yet. I thankfully didn't trust their opinion and decided to get a second opinion somewhere else and guess what- it only needed to be cleaned inside, works great now. DO NOT GO HERE- they will try to scam and upcharge you if you look like someone who doesn't know what they're talking about. Very shady business.

When I received the console back and started it up. It is continuing to experience the exact same errors I sent it in to be fixed. Instead of owning their mistake they are saying to mail it back in and they will probably tell me it will be a couple more hundred to fix the initial issue I sent it in for. They have lost my trust on the reliability of their diagnosis and repair. I understand it is a business and they need to make money, but based on the other low rated reviews and how the Owner is responding. The customer is not the focus of their service. Below is what they replied after I posted on google. They want me to send it back but I will never trust them with my devices ever again. "We appreciate your feedback and would like to clarify a few important points regarding your repair and our process. Your total payment of $175 included the $130 repair cost and $45 return shipping. We have been in business for over 10 years and have successfully repaired 100,000+ devices, including 10,000+ consoles from customers in all 50 states. We work with the military, police stations across Alabama, and perform B2B repairs for other repair stores in the country. We are one of the FEW independent repair labs with the equipment and expertise to perform complex board-level repairs on console systems. When your console arrived through our free one-way mail-in program, it went through our standard intake procedure: Two rounds of pre-repair testing During these tests, your HDMI port failed, your system showed a corrupted database, and the cooling paste was dried out from regular usage and age. (This has been a VERY common issue, almost see these types of problem at least 5+ times a day across PS4, PS5, and Xbox) To address all identified issues, we: 1. Replaced the HDMI port 2. Rebuilt the database 3. Replaced the thermal compound After repairs, your console completed: 1. Two additional rounds of testing, and 2. A manager-level RQC (final quality check) 3.
