We'd promised him he could move in 3 months if he was still unhappy. We were looking for alternatives just in case--including my Dad, who did it on his computer at/around the 3 month mark. His query for more information from a different AL place ended up, somehow, in Care Patrol's lap. He said he received a call from the agent who placed him there, who told him he was already at his home and that's where he would stay! Can you believe that? Apparently, CP placement works on commission, which is payed by the facility, BUT they only get the full amount if the person stays 90 days or--3 months [shocker]. They must've gotten a hell of a commission because Dad quickly deteriorated from his unhappiness and wanting to be elsewhere. They had zero concern about an elderly man's health or wishes.

I first met her in 2022 when she was a student midwife at the birth center where I delivered my son. Even then as a student she was a calming and safe presence for me. When I got pregnant last year I was so excited to be able to reach out to her again and ask her to be our midwife for a home birth. The care I received was everything I could have hoped for and more. Chelsey's calm, steady presence, her knowledge, and her genuine belief in me gave me so much peace and confidence. She honored my wishes, supported me through the hard moments, and celebrated the joyful ones right alongside me. Brittany was on call when I went into labor so I was also fortunate enough to have her at my home birth. Although I had not met her before that day, I'm incredibly thankful for her steadiness and knowledge. My daughter was sunny-side up (and I THINK asynclitic) so it was not an easy delivery. But both midwives were there to guide me throughout the labor to get her out. To have Chelsey at both of my births and there to catch both of my babies feels incredibly special. She is not only skilled and professional but also deeply compassionate, and I am so grateful for the love and care she has poured into me and my family. Every prenatal/postnatal appointment felt like meeting with a friend. Gennisi is a true gift to our community, and I couldn't recommend Chelsey more highly.

Caregivers were very lazy and sat in the opposite room as the person they were caring for. We met…read morewith management so many times via telephone on our concerns and each time they said they'd talk to the caregiver but there were no consequences and care never got better. It was a rotating door because caregivers come and go so often from this place. We has so many things stolen as well and management completely dismissed all our concerns on the theft and refused to provide names of caregivers to the police so they could conduct a proper investigation. Its so disheartening to see the elderly so taken advantage of. They told us that it was our fault and we must have forgotten or lost it ourselves again and we should look for it. Just completely dismissed our concerns. I do not recommend this company.

The staff was very proactive in finding the right caregiver to meet our needs and we were very pleased to have been assigned a caregiver who was compassionate, kind, and did a wonderful job managing my husband's changing needs over the past 18 months. The scheduling staff was very thorough and responsive to emails and calls. Home visits were scheduled periodically to check in on the dynamics between my husband and our caregiver. We recently terminated services only because my husband has progressed to the point that he no longer requires a daytime caregiver, but Assisting Hands was there for us in a time of great need and we were most appreciative for the great service!
