    Graduation
    Tammy A.

Oh boy, could Columbus do a bit better for venue center's for graduation ceremony's? I mean I felt like was going to pass out because I was jam packed into this building which is bigger than what it actually came out to be for graduation. Luckily, I didn't pass out. What didn't work out with the building? The noise if someone is screaming at a ceremony can be echoed and makes it so loud and annoying to the point it seems disrespectful. I graduated before at the Nutter Center in Dayton, Ohio and I can tell you there was no echo in the sound of the audience. I actually preferred that graduation ceremony over this one, even though this degree is worth a little more than my one up in Dayton. At the Nutter Center too you weren't jammed packed like sardines in a can to fit into a building for a ceremony of maybe less than 900 people. So I had a little more of a breathing room in Dayton compared to here. I literally needed water after this ceremony to prevent myself from passing out and a breathe of fresh air. Columbus State, I highly recommend you picking another venue for future graduation ceremony's not only with this a cluster, but many people wanted to leave quickly because it was uncomfortable. Plus get rid of the announcer who cannot pronounce people's name's or photography it's a bit embarrassing to your institution and not to mention those whom are receiving their diplomas and have to put up with their names being butchered on stage. I hope this advice helps future ceremony's go a bit more smoothly.

Was there for the Jellyroll concert. Overall a good venue. Sections and seating was well marked. Had a great time.

Seats in the balcony area are rigid and very uncomfortable. Two cold hotdogs, two hard soft pretzels and two sodas were $28.

It has been converted into a multi room entertainment venue, hosting large regional and National acts. As it is easy to imagine, the acoustics are superb. The ambience is special in that it is not a plain, bland, run of the mill auditorium. The several concerts that I have attended here have had strict security entrance requirements. This can result in lines of people queuing up, waiting to be screened and cleared. This of course can result in some delay for entry. My advice is to show up early in order to accommodate this extra time needed. I have posted some photos of the line so you can have a better idea of what goes on. There is parking available nearby, but this is also an issue that should be thought out in advance. I have utilized car service when visiting Bluestone, which really just made things a whole lot easier.

Walking in, the ambience is great and the staff were friendly. That part was solid and 5 stars. Outside of the entry and seating, everything else felt mediocre at best. We had a few cocktails and ordered some beverages, some duck fat popcorn, fries, and a pizza. Nothing was bad, the food was good but nothing stood out either from the initial welcome. I had my own Toast tab set up via online ordering app and ordering was easy. We were there with friends who were also ordering separately on their own mobile tabs. Somehow drinks were added to my tab that I did not order on my phone. When I asked about it, the response was that it was assumed I bought a round since other ordered at the same table without a verbal consent or acknowledgement. They had their own tab. If I had ordered it, it would have been on my phone. That part was frustrating and took away from the experience. I paid it and accepted it was our friend's drinks. Overall, I like the idea of Natalie's and the atmosphere is nice.
