This was the 1st Christmas tree farm I've been to, before the baby we just went to Home Depot or Costco. The experience here is magical, there's so many beautiful Instagramable photo spots, and hundreds of trees to choose from. The staff is friendly enough and very fast and efficient. The prices were very high but you are paying for the experience and ambience here. I definitely recommend for kids bc it's such a fun Christmas experience very hallmarky. They have hot cocoa, cookies and other snacks. We will probably make this a tradition. This farm is on my 20 mins from our house but it's very much out in the country so it has that calm old worldly feel.

A vast selection of trees of all shapes/sizes are available and prices seemed reasonable. They have carts available, too, to help wheel your find to the parking lot area. The attendants are incredibly kind and really go the extra step securing your tree to the roof of your car. They also sell tree stands, wreaths, ornaments, hot chocolate, and other snacks. A little shady, but I guess we all gotta make a buck. They assist with netting, and carrying the tree to your car and if you need help tying it down they'll support you. There are bad for you snacks like funnel cakes. I didn't see kettle corn this year, but I'm sure it was there. Flocked trees, regular trees, small and large options, wreaths, bags for disposal, and some crafty booths to check out. Bigger than before overall, jumpy houses for the kiddos, overall scratched all the itches you want at a lot. It isn't the most seasonally festive experience out there but it does the job just fine and makes it a painless process.

Presumably if the daughter decided she didn't want it, we could have had it, but who knows when that would have been. Kind of a lousy way to treat your customers. We left and went over to Friedman's where we got a nearly identical tree for about $30 less. But to end on a positive note, the two employees we spoke to who were obviously put in an awkward situation were very pleasant and did their best to be helpful. Kudos to them. Not so much the owner.

So my boyfriend, the kids and myself went tree hunting and because he used to work here in his late teens we decided to revisit the area and jog his memory. The kids were put immediately to work with one holding the saw, the other holding the tree measurer, and the last one with the cart. We found our tree in a short while and decided on cutting it at about 7-8 ft. If you're looking for convenience, this isn't the place to go. If you're looking for the memories or experience of watching the kiddos wrestle the tree and fight the tree saw while taking tons of pictures, this is it. You can also buy some hot cocoa and pastries from the 4H kids and pet the bunnies they're raising.
