Let's start with the vibe - this place has ALL the best vibes. Luxury meets romance meets trendy. Just impeccable taste from a design perspective. It was raining when I got there but typically you can see amazing views from their outdoor patio and just relax before you are seated. We were seated about 10 minutes after our reservation which I didn't mind due to the areas they have for you to enjoy your time. Once we were seated, our server Cristian was there with all the kindness and knowledge of the menu. He made great drink recommendations and I even had a flavored lemon drop that was off menu. Delicious! The food was unreal! Sometimes you get beautiful dishes that lack in flavor but here, you get the flavor and the beauty! The birria tacos were SO good I could eat a million of these! My husband had the enchiladas and those had the perfect amount of sauce that kept the enchiladas still a little crispy and far from soggy. The rice was surprisingly super flavorful!! For some reason neither one of us were expecting a side dish to pack so much punch but wow! Lastly, for dessert we had the dulce de leche. Beautiful and the perfect amount of sweetness to end dinner with. This is the perfect place to enjoy a date night or a girls night out. I can't wait to come back again and try out more of the menu!

After a spa visit downstairs, we came to Cieba for dinner and had such a lovely experience. The Ceiba Guacamole was a table favorite, and the Ensalada de Equities was super fresh and delicious. For my main, I had the Arrachera, and it was so good I took the leftovers home and finished them later! Our server (I forgot his name!) was incredibly informative and described every dish beautifully. The restaurant itself is stunning indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the Evermore pool and the Disney area. Such a perfect, relaxing dinner.

Came to celebrate a birthday, servers were very sweet and attentive and learned our names! The view in this restaurant is stunning, I suggest trying to do a reservation around 8:30 to see the park fireworks as you eat. All the food was delicious but the mole was my favorite! I did as for the mole on the side just because I prefer dipping my steak into the mole. The corn was also a hit as a starter. Love this place, would recommend!

This beautiful restaurant sits on top of The Conrad and with valet parking only, make sure to get your ticket validated! The service was excellent from start to finish and really made the evening feel special. This place is perfect for a celebration or date night! We started with the Ceiba Guacamole ($29) and loved the unique twist with blue crab meat in it. It made it so flavorful and different from any guacamole I've had before. Highly recommend! For dinner, I had the Quesabirria tacos ($21). They were small but still delicious. I added rice on the side and it felt like a complete meal. We ended the night by walking around the Conrad and lagoon, such a beautiful property! If you're looking for upscale Mexican food with a creative touch and great atmosphere, Ceiba is the spot.

The approach to the new Conrad Hotel is not very promising, which makes the experience of stepping into the stunning lobby all the more spectacular, with the resort's massive water feature spread out before you. The interior finishes are impressive throughout. Equally stunning is the view from Ceiba, the Modern Mexican restaurant on the eight floor. This is probably the best place to wow out of town visitors, with a better view of Epcot and Magic Kingdom fireworks than anywhere except the Contemporary. The menu is unique to Orlando: truly modern Mexican cuisine, with some familiar names such as flautas and tacos, but gourmet preparations inside, such as duck confit and braised lamb shank. We started with the guacamole which, at $29, seemed pricy, but proved to be a generous serving, topped with ample crab meat, and spiced with salmon roe and thin slices of jalapeños. Delicious. We'd planned on sampling several such botanas, but the serving was so generous that we went straight to entrees. Well, not exactly. My wife selected the Ceviche De Hamachi Verdi as her entree. Again, it was a generous serving of hamachi, but I would argue that it isn't really a ceviche, as the fish hasn't really been marinated in citrus, but rather is just served in a verde sauce. It was accurately described on the menu as coming with salsa verde, green apple, serrano, cucumber, and jicama, but I don't think she'd order it again. I had the Flautas de Pato, very crispy corn tortilla rolls (really more taquitos, if you will) filled with duck confit, and served with avocado serrano salsa, cabbage, and queso fresco crema. They were delicious, and I could only eat half of them... ...because I was saving room for the Tsokolate, a flourless chocolate sphere filled with dark chocolate mousse, accompanied by an assortment of delicious crumbles and gels. It was wonderful, and plenty for two people to share. There's a good wine list and a very extensive tequila list. I tried several interesting and creative cocktails. Service was top notch. The entire staff was welcoming and attentive, and our server, Christian, was a genuine host, who made the experience special.

Such a beautiful location! We stayed at the Conrad Hotel for one night and this restaurant was located within the hotel. We didn't have a reservation so the guys at the desk told us the restaurant was completely full for the evening. Luckily we were totally fine sitting at the bar and there was plenty of space there. I would have liked it if they offered us to wait for a table, since we were guests of the hotel and not just offered us the bar but it worked out just fine. There's a large courtyard type area before you enter the restaurant and that has great views of the Disney parks and other landscape. You can watch the sunset and enjoy drinks on the loungers. Inside, there are huge windows where you also get a fantastic view. One of the servers saw me looking around and actually took me over to the window to point out the various Disney parks. How awesome is that?! The bartenders were very nice and attentive. I ordered a glass of wine from the menu. We also ordered the queso fundido (very small portion), the seafood guac (love the crab and caviar) and a huarache/tostada (a lot of lettuce). Everything was really tasty and fresh and came out pretty quickly. The prices are on the high side for the portions, so couldn't give 5 stars. Love this location for a date night, it was romantic and the vibe was on point!

We had dinner at Ceiba for my wife's birthday, and I'm so happy I chose this place! The views of the resort and parts of the Disney area were absolutely spectacular. Our server explained many of the items on the menu, and they have a very large selection of tequilas. I had the Don Pepe, which was like a mezcal mule--it was so refreshing and delicious. Maddie had a spicy margarita, which she really enjoyed. We decided to try three appetizers and an order of birria tacos. Everything was so fresh and clearly made to order with great care and presentation. We had the guacamole with crab meat, queso, and the ceviche. Next time, we'll have to try an entrée! For dessert, we had the very unique and delicious corn. Honestly, it was the coolest dessert presentation I've ever seen. I can't wait to come back!

Ceiba was so good we ate there two days in a row! The esquite was unlike any I've ever tried and had pieces of pomegranate in it! The tacos were phenomenal too and we tried about 10 dishes off their menu. The service was very friendly and helpful and the view looking out of the restaurant was beautiful especially at night time.

Lounging at the lagoon... And it didn't rain

Located rooftop at the Conrad Orlando at Evermore. Amazing views of the man-made lagoon, my wife and I stayed at the hotel for our anniversary and had dinner at 9 PM. We are able to watch the fireworks at Epcot out across Lagoon. It's a really cool place has a nice outdoor seating area if you have to wait. The menu is upscale, Mexican, obviously being at Conrad it's gonna be pricey, but it is definitely worth it. We tried the queso fundido, the elotes and we both ended up going with the chicken Verde enchiladas. The enchiladas were incredible. Definitely some of the best I've ever had. We asked for some tortilla chips to go with queso fundido , they were fresh made and delicious. As were the homemade corn tortillas. We had some Dos Equis dressed, and they were served in chilled clay tumblers that made it extremely cold and delicious ...all six of them. The whole day was expensive, but if you get a chance, the lagoon and the whole experience was worth it.

Wow. What a treat. I went with enchiladas because they are a favorite of mine and are 95% of the time gluten free. A fantastic choice. Lovely service. I will definitely be making my way back to Ceiba when I can.

Reservations are necessary to come to this restaurant because you need to show security at the front of the hotel property before you can enter. It does get a little confusing to get to this restaurant but there are workers that guided me to the restaurant. This rooftop restaurant is super cute located on top of the hotel. I came here with one of my girl friends on a girls night in July & we sat at the bar. The menu is Mexican style based & we just ordered a couple of things on the menu then shared it! The food was yummy & the drinks were delicious! The bartenders knew what they were talking about and gave us the perfect drink & food recommendation ! They have different areas where you can take cute photos. The ambiance in this restaurant/hotel is honestly beautiful I would definitely recommend getting dressed up and coming here with your girls, family, significant other, etc. We really enjoyed this place !

Beautiful ambiance and fantastic service! The appetizers stole the show, especially the Mexican corn and guac. The menu overall was great, but the vegan steak was the only thing that wasn't as impressive, needed more flavor. Loved the views of the pool, and the fireworks at night were the perfect touch!

I came here for my birthday dinner this past Saturday and there were pros and cons for sure - so lets get into it. First, we had one person is our group running an hour late and they wouldn't let us sit until she got there. That was a little annoying, but I respect their policies. We all sat at the bar and got a drink. Drinks were tasty but extremely overpriced ($21-35) per drink. They were definitely creative drinks with flair like mezcal balls - But who really wants to spend $60? When my last friend finally got there, they sat us. The ambiance was gorgeous and the view of the Disney fireworks was definitely beautiful and a great conversation starter. Service was fair, as our server Demi was very slow. We ordered appetizers (the queso fundido and the choriqueso). Although they tasted good, the portion size wasn't equivalent to the price point. Three appetizers are definitely not shareable. We ordered food and my entree was the Barbacoa. Although a heart piece of meat, the flavors just weren't complimenting one another. The consome could have been better. Pairing with chickpeas for the carb was a poor choice. Throughout all our entrees we noticed that the menu was creative but not built for enjoyment or functionality for a great meal. We also got a bottle of champagne and desserts. They did not have the champagne we ordered and the replacement they gave us truly wasn't equivalent. But the desserts were tasty! I wouldn't come back or recommend this restaurant to anyone. I believe it has great potential but in short, the price point is too high for the standards of quality, service and portions that they're executing. The ambiance and decor is top tier.

Disclaimer: this review is for the lunch buffet only…read more I went with my family to try the $18.49 all you can eat lunch buffet. This was my first time experiencing a buffet for hispanic food and for this price point in Orlando, this is an amazing value deal. The server regularly brought us out silverware, napkins, and refilled our water. The place is decorated very fun and plays latin music which was lovely Not only was there an unlimited assortment of lunch foods, but an entire bar of fresh toppings for tacos (or rice bowls) and made to order desserts which were included for free! Not everything on the buffet line was the best but given the amount of options, price, and how good the great items are this is still worth a five star rating. I unfortunately did not take pictures of the food before I began devouring everything in sight to the point of near-collapse, but I will do a quick rundown of the buffet highlights: The best meats were the fajita steak, chicken, and shrimp made fresh in cast iron skillets, as well as the chicken lengua which was super flavorful and tender. The mexican rice, beans, fajitas, plantains, and street corn were also excellent. Fresh quesadillas, chips, and corn tortillas on standby with homemade queso and salsas. The flan and mini churros were the best I've ever had. Super rich, decadent Carmel flan. Mini churros hot and crisp on the outside, filled with a gooey soft milk chocolate center. They were delicious. Items that were disappointing: the tamales, mini chicken flautas, and beef chimichangas were just okay, lacking the seasoning and flavor that other dishes had. The beef barbacoa was not as tender or flavorful as the shredded chicken surprisingly. The mixed seafood was itself a mixed bag with some shrimps / scallops overcooked to much while others were perfectly cooked. The chicken mole and beef tri tip were room temperature despite sitting on hot plates. The tri tip also varied widely in doneness throughout the slices and not super tender. The rice pudding was pretty standard, and the tres leches cake was weird as they crumbled the cake into pieces before soaking it.

This year I told my honey the only way I would go out was if we found a place that excepted reservations. In return, I accepted that it was most likely not going to be an extraordinary, authentic, or a gem of a place. My first experience at Solita turned out to be what I manifested. Upon entering the restaurant, vibes were in full effect. No mariachi band as I would have hoped, but the but the energy in the room was happy and festive. They had a DJ providing music, but it was so loud that when our waitress read us their specials, I literally told her I could not hear her. She did greet us with salsas, chips, and these little wheels I read a lot about. They had a similar texture to a chicharron and were simply delightful! Probably my favorite component I sampled all night. Since I had never been to Solita, I checked out Yelp to do my research. One thing I was excited to try was their "Duckie Frozé". It had Rosé, fruit purée, frozen margarita with your choice of flavor: watermelon, pomegranate, or guava. Adorning the top of the drink was a darling little rubber duckie. There are TONS of pictures of this drink on Yelp. Much to my surprise, my drink arrived with NO DUCK. When I asked the waitress about it, she shrugged it off said they "don't do that anymore". It may sound like a small thing to be disappointed about, but really that was just the start. Luckily, Cinco was on Tuesday this year, so we were able to order from the "Taco & Tequila Tuesday" discounted menu. We started off with the Grilled Corn Elote which is served tableside. I thought this would be cool, but it wasn't. It was a bit painful watching the waitress struggle to shave the corn off. I almost wanted to offer help! After all that, the corn was just ok. I personally think the Elote I make at home is better. Thankfully this was on the Tuesday Menu also making it only $5. While perusing their selections prior to going, I felt that their taco prices were a bit steep. They have two types of taco sizes. The Street Tacos looked itty bitty with next to nothing on them. They do have a lot of flavor choices (11), and you get 3-4 tacos for about $20. Glad I saw photos of these on Yelp beforehand. Then they have Tacos Locos. They are described as "One large taco" when in fact they are just regular sized tacos overflowing in toppings. Just ONE Tacos Locos costs about $15! I think the pricing is loco, and based off what we'd tried so far, I was certain to only order from the Tuesday menu. We were able to get a Shrimp Chicharron for $6 and a Vampiro (Chicken or Carnitas) for $8. The shrimp one was appetizing. I even remember thinking after the first few bites that I should have just gotten two of those. Then I tried a piece of chicken from my Vampiro. It was a piece of straight fat that I immediately spit out. That pretty much killed it for me, and I didn't even eat anymore of the Vampiro or anything else for that matter. The positives of the evening included: -Getting into a spot to celebrate on Cinco De Mayo -The food came out quicker than expected based on the reviews -Trying a new restaurant and learning that it's nowhere I will be returning to or recommending. Knowledge is power.

We loved the food and atmosphere so much that we visited twice the same week while visiting the Orlando area. Service (4.5/5) was excellent on our first visit, and slightly slower on our 2nd visit, but still incredibly friendly with management checking in on customers to make people were enjoying their meals. Overall, I'd rate the food and experience a 4.5/5, but happy to round up since San Jose's is right up my alley for an ideal Mexican meal that is delicious and doesn't gouge you with prices like other restaurants tend to do. I'll gladly return on future trips to the Orlando area and will be recommending them to others, as San Jose's would crack my rotation of a Mexican restaurants I'd regularly visit if I lived locally.

Stopped in for Cinco de Mayo. Mistake #1. Only a couple of overpriced margs on the menu. We…read moreordered the organic watered down version in a $25 souvenir cup. We left it behind. Mistake #2. Ordered enchiladas with gr beef and guajillo sauce. Absolutely the most bland, flavorless enchiladas I can recall having in a long time. Mistake #3. Ordered the Flautas with beef tinga. I had trouble finding the filling! Maybe I should have ordered the tinga tacos? I'm so bummed to have spent over $100 on a meal that left me begging for something more. The upside? The staff was friendly and prompt, despite being a busy night. Try at your own risk. We won't be back.
