I picked out some Audio Technica headphones for the trade, and did end up getting the protection plan (the guy was honest and we shared experiences of having headphones snap on us. They have comparables, including a Selmer, on their own Dorsey Music website for up to $17,000. Owner's son acknowledged that it had real value but only offered between $200 and $400. When I pointed out the comparables on his website, the punk got all jerky and said, "Now I don't really want to buy it."
