They shared an app with me, texted apt reminders, which is super helpful. The people at the front desk were sympathetic to my scared pup. Diane gave me a recommendation for a trainer she knows. (Great rec by the way) My dog is 3 and did not walk on leash. The vet tech was gentle with my pup, and listened carefully and shared with the Vet. The Vet introduced himself and gave valid suggestions, warnings and prescriptions for my special boy. Finally, someone called to let me know the labs were good within one day. Next visit, we go to the hospital a few doors down from the clinic, where we had our first visit. The app that they had me sign up for is pretty user friendly. I do need to figure out how to submit my claim to insurance.

Dr. Fuchs WAS still there a couple months ago when I had to bring my girl there for her reoccurring skin issue but the office had a different feel -- not for the better! I don't trust them or maybe even the motives for taking over a well established, always busy office - with one (or two) evening and Saturday morning appts for this who actually still work! He is also 90 lbs and his size can create a unique challenge. We've struggle in the past to find a vet who would build trust and work with him vs. rushing to full sedation. I was blown away by the care we received from Dr. Koenigstein. She prescribed a comfort pack for him to take in advance of his appointment, and was very gracious when he was too stubborn to enter the exam room. She spent a great deal of time with him to make him comfortable with her. She also let me stay with my dog during the entire visit, which I think went a long way in keeping him relaxed. As a team of three (the vet tech, Ashley, was amazing too!), we soothed my dog and kept him comfortable through the exam, vaccinations, and even a nail trim. I feel so fortunate to have found this place and would absolutely recommend it to all pet lovers in the local area!

This emergency vet hospital is outstanding, and anytime I take a sick pet there, I'm reminded of why I have so much trust in them. My cat was taken back immediately to be assessed. A technician or vet checked in with me frequently to let me know how he was doing. Treatment was explained clearly and I was told in advance of the cost of tests recommended. The vet was thorough in talking with me to get my cat's history and explain his illness. The reception staff were friendly and kind. The waiting area and exam rooms are clean and comfortable. I received a text message this morning following up about how my cat is doing. He is much better today after receiving treatment at NorthStar.
