Campsites for the campers are kind of close together, but the tent lots had tons of room! The entire campground is shaded nicely with beautiful trees. It is clean and well maintained as well. The cabins are decent- clean, and stocked with everything you need. Nothing fancy, but the linens were all clean and the water was hot so no complaints here in that aspect. I didn't deal with the front office as my mother in law booked our stay and did all of that. My only complaint would be the other campers/cabin renters. Our cabin was a duplex and our neighbors were not considerate of how much noise they made. Cabins and camper spots are dog friendly, however it's basic knowledge that your dog must be leashed. Our neighbors did not leash their small poodle, and it rushed my two dogs, one of which was blind, several times. We informed them that because one of our dogs is blind, even though he is a nice dog, he could snap at something coming up on him suddenly. This did not deter them from allowing their dog to continue unleashed. I should have said something to the front office but didn't want to cause any trouble. All in all, a good stay, and not the campgrounds fault about obnoxious neighbors.

We have stayed at Shady Lane for several years during our annual float trips with friends. These…read morecabins are by far cleaner than any other cabins we have stayed at in this area. We have always stayed in the single cabins. The cabins are large and have plenty of room for our equipment. The cabin has a full bathroom, small refrigerator, TV with Dish Network and A/C. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. There is also large grassy areas to play yard games and wiffle ball in the evening. Although the cabins aren't right on the river, they are just a short walk away. We will continue to stay at Shady Lane during our annual float trips with friends.

Looked under the mattress and found many more just like him. I don't know if it's a tick or bed bug but you can Google image search both and decide for yourself. Looked under the pillow case and found multiple dark stains that looked like human body fluids. Called the manager (Eric Grieb) and asked for a refund since we had been checked in less than an hour but he was incredibly rude. He hung up on my Mom so we left. The next day he wouldn't return any of our phone calls. Returned in person to speak with him but he was the most unprofessional, rude, and demeaning man I've ever interacted with. He began yelling at my father and I so we left. When I informed him I would be leaving a bad review because of his terrible attitude he threatened to sue me for "liable and slander" and tried to intimidate me into staying quiet. I would not recommend Eagle's Landing River resort, even as a last option. Not just because of the bugs, I understand it's in the middle of the woods, but because of Eric's belligerent attitude and complete lack of respect for customer service."

Everything was clean, lots of wood provided and the view was incredible. The jacuzzi tub was a perfect end to our hike, we went to ally spring which was recommend by Cindy at the main office. It was their Valentine's Day weekend so the inside was decorated with flowers and candy and there was an amazing steak dinner provided. Honestly anything we needed they were so accommodating! You then just float to the beach right behind the cabin and Windy's staff will pick up your canoe /kayak later. It's so convenient!
