While they were not the least expensive, I selected them after reviewing the job with Christo, the owner. He was very knowledgeable and was straight forward regarding the extent of possible issues that may be uncover when the shingles are removed from such an older building (1929). Christo has an extensive portfolio of quality materials to choose from and his suggestions really helped steer me towards the best possible outcome. The work began very shortly after the paperwork was completed and even after finding that the original roof had 3 layers of failed shingles in some areas, had extensive wood rot at the decking, fascia and soffit areas, needed replacement roof ventilation and also required additional work to remove an old school TV antenna... the roof was completed beautifully and ahead of schedule! Communication was on-going and professional throughout the entire job. The clean up was meticulous and complete. Gutters and downspouts were installed a few days later and the house really looks great! I can 100% recommend 1st Choice Roofing... and have already passed their contact information on to both family and friends.

I highly recommend them if you want a great, honest, dependable company that is willing to come back or call you if you have a question. 5 stars for them.

Can't answer that because they never responded. Value? Since they didn't respond, can't answer that either. It's not worth anything of value (because you can't pay anything) if you get no response to the quote request for service. The bottom line is two-part. 1: Yelp needs to stop suppressing valid reviews. Please make sure you open "not recommended" - chances are the majority are valid and the positive ones are paid or fake somehow. 2: If a quote request comes, be a decent business and respond, even if it's to respectfully decline to serve.

We narrowed our choice for estimates to 3. Frank-Dale Roofing & Exteriors was the contractor we chose. And what a GREAT decision that was. From the owner Andy on first visit with the selection and estimate, to the Project Manager Garrett scheduling the work and all items needed, to the work crew, were OUTSTANDING! We requested a install date that was honored. Crew arrived, got sight prepared, covered bushes, lawn, patio concrete, and were up on the roof and tore off 31 square of old shingle in no time damaging nothing in, on, or outside our home. Roof deck was prepared with new ice & water, underlay, metal valley and inspected by Garrett before the first new shingle was installed. New roof shingles were installed professionally by certified Owens Corning installers without any issues and it looks GREAT. The roofing industry has a black eye from guys like "Chuck and a Truck". Frank-Dale Roofing & Exteriors is a true PROFESSIONAL in this industry.
