Instead, the driver showed-up Monday morning, while my phone ringer was off, since I wasn't expecting anything at that time. When I didn't answer his repeated calls, the driver went ahead and dumped the entire load of gravel in a single spot, of his (or their) choosing, on my property, without any direction from me. My intention had been for me to be present when he arrived, in order to guide him on where to dump multiple gravel piles along specific areas, where I know that the gravel is needed. When I saw and questioned the delivery driver, after he dumped my gravel, he pointed his finger at me and said that he had called me several times, and he then told me to take it up with the manager. The manager politely later acknowledged to me that there had been a delivery-time change. The problem is; I hadn't been notified of that change. While I understand that mistakes happen, what concerned me most was the driver's decision to enter my property and proceed without my authorization, and with his reaction afterward, which came across as dismissive and possibly driven by frustration. This created extra work and inconvenience, on my end. If you're ordering from Garoppo's, I recommend being very clear about you expecting their delivery timing to be accurate, and about them making sure, first, that you're available when their delivery truck arrives, because their delivery arrival times -based upon what I experienced, seem to be -apparently, whenever they decide to deliver, instead of when you previously have agreed to a delivery window of time. Based upon my experience, if there's any miscommunication, or if you miss a call from the delivery driver, the driver may dump materials wherever he chooses, on your property, instead of waiting for your instruction or instead of the driver just returning your order to the store. Other than that, the in-store staff at Garoppo's are always polite, friendly, and helpful. All of the above are my opinions.

The original as well as the previous owners both put in weird lights all over the house and we are having a nightmare of a time trying to replace bulbs... So I took a few of them to Ace to try and figure out what I need, and unfortunately they were unable to help me. The labels on the bulb faded, and they looked like 3 different types of bulbs and we had no idea the wattage... The store was jam packed! It has very small aisles, just big enough for 2 people to walk down. Every square inch has something to sell. It is basically a slimmed down Home Depot. It was nice but a little dated and shabby, but if you come here you are not looking for a new clean modern aesthetic, you are here for a specific item. All in all the staff was friendly, but unfortunately was unable to help me with my bulbs. If I do need basic home improvement items, this will be my place to go!

I followed their comprehensive instructions for their warranty. The tree died and today I returned it. First they started with their policy is for sale items not being under warranty. It is very clearly under warranty with the warranty printed on the back of the receipt. Then I mentioned if they sell a tree it should be viable and well or else they shouldn't sell it. They agreed. They would not replace it with the same since I purchased on sale. They then they had a perennial 50% off on their front sign, but they were unable to honor it. A perennial is a plant that lives for at least two years and regrows each spring, offering a low-maintenance, long-term addition to gardens, landscapes, and agriculture. These plants, which include flowers, vegetables, trees, shrubs, and grasses, provide lasting beauty and structure to a garden, as their deep root systems also offer environmental benefits like soil retention and nutrient reach. The man and woman working their called the owner, and he apparently yelled at them according to what they said. In order to get a replacement it would cost me about $230 additional to replace the tree purchased last year. All I would like was a tree that is healthy and will live more than a few months. I received a refund for $79.97 in store credit, but asked for a credit by payment method because I won't be their customer anymore because they have made it clear they have no interest in healthy plants or satisfied customers.
