To say I was nervous about placing her in someone else's care would be to put it mildly. We had done our research and toured multiple facilities and just kept coming back to Cradle Club and the feeling we had from our tour, during which Sharita knew each of the children by name, the children seemed happy and excited about learning and playing and the teachers also seemed to be enjoying their time. The experience felt personal and as if we would be joining a family and a village that would help us raise and care for our little girl. We made the right choice. The teachers and the directors helped with the transition from my maternity leave to daycare and welcomed our daughter in such a way that she and we grew to love bringing her to school each day. The teachers truly care about the children and greet them with joy and huge smiles and excitement for the day ahead. The attention to detail and individual needs is evidenced by the care that goes into moving up to older classrooms and ensuring that we as parents feel heard and our child's needs are met. I would highly recommend Cradle Club!

We love Cradle Club all-around - her teachers have all been wonderful, and we've always felt that it has a much more personable, "family" feeling than the average center (and very different from some of the more corporate-feeling centers we toured!). We couldn't be happier!

OK, in full disclosure, this is my first daycare experience and my first ever kid. And I'll admit,…read moreI'm a neurotic, anal-retentive, worried parent! I was scrambling looking for infant daycare in the Twin Cities. I had looked at several top rated places in the Highland Park area, and unfortunately, the wait lists were SUPER long! I originally thought I had a spot secured at the Jewish Community Center (JCC), and that ended up falling through... so I was urgently scrambling to find a place that met my expectations. Someone had recommended Jardin, so my husband and I toured it immediately. We met with Jardin's Center Director, Hortensia. She was kind, professional, and very patient with all my numerous (read "neurotic!") emails and questions. It was a brand new facility when I toured it (it just opened up in Feb/March of 2017) and was shiny, clean, brightly colored, and new. My husband and I were immediately impressed with Jardin... and we weren't even looking for a language immersion daycare. We ended up enrolling our son there within a few days (we knew their infant spots were going to fill up fast!), and I'm so glad we secured a spot! What I love about Jardin-St. Paul? I love the three daycare providers in the infant room - Isaura, Marisol and Jesica are so kind and gentle with our child, and I feel really good about leaving our kid here. He's always smiling and happy while here, and when I've dropped by several times (to randomly breastfeed him when I have time), he seems very happy! I love how Cheryl (at the front desk) occasionally sends us pictures of our son interacting with the teachers, as it gives me some peace that he's happy there. I also love that I can come and go to breastfeed as needed. What are some other pros? While my kid isn't eating food yet, they serve organic food here (Their menu looks so good, I want to eat there!). And they are super eco-friendly. They use cloth diapers during the day (You bring your kid in their regular diaper - we use disposable - and they change him in and out of cloth diapers throughout the day. They also change him at the end of day so you go home with a disposable diaper). They provide diaper rash cream, as needed. You don't get nickel and dime'd for everything (e.g., diapers, meals, etc.). They have a great fenced in outside playground and an indoor gym. (Plus, Tori Ramen is right across the street so you can grab a quick meal before you pick up your kid!). The cons? It's not in the best area of Selby-Dale/St. Paul. And the hours (7:30AM-5:30PM) are very narrow if you have a job that has earlier or later hours. Occasionally, the door has been locked at 7:30AM, so I've had to call to be let in. That said, the pros outweigh the limited cons, and we've been super happy here. Nothing negative to review at all so far! Overall, I couldn't be happier. Love this place so far. Two thumbs up!!!

Their communication and dedication to the staff, parents, and children is five stars. I love that Tutor Time offers an app. The teachers can upload a child's daily pictures, diapers changes, and bottle feeding for parents to review. What is also fantastic is Tutor supplies diapers and formula!!! That is a huge plus in my book. There is not one day that I don't drop off my daughter without a smile. I feel so comfortable leaving my daughter in their care. I love that when she see her teacher, Ms. Tracy, she smiles. Would highly recommend Tutor Time, to family and friends

I learned the hard way that I was having a tough time with the transition and I am so thankful for the staff at Tutor Time for helping us through this. Staff comforted our son and made his transition to daycare so great that some days he doesn't want to leave. The staff are so willing to talk about anything and adjust to what we do at home which is helpful. If there is an issue Ashley or the teachers will answer them and fix what they can. I love the cameras in class where I can pop in and see our son happy, learning and loving daycare. The app they use is so nice to message staff, see pictures, updates, etc. The staff all know who the kids are, interact with us and the kids when they are coming and going and make you feel welcome. The director actually helps in classrooms and loves it, unlike other daycares where they don't know the kids or the classes. Our son has learned so much at daycare and we couldn't be more thankful to Tutor Time. They have events to interact with staff, see updates on your child's progress and interact with other parents and kids. I highly recommend sending your kids here!

He was almost completely unable to answer any question about the day care. He just kept telling us to read his brochure. I politely explained that we wanted to get some more information about the staff, activities, meals and so on. He was completely absent. It's almost as though he was deliberately trying to deter us from going there. Conspiracy theory? Maybe so but I can't understand how someone who cares for children can be so detached from what is happening on his business. Also I got the sense that none of the people who care for the children have any training or certification at all. One of the staff was wearing ratty sweatpants with holes in them. When I asked about credentials of the staff the owner was very evasive. He just told me that the staff has "a lot of experience with children". It didn't take long to decide that this place is not going to work. I would regrettably suggest that you not waste your time by stopping in for a visit, because even if you're the least bit particular about who watches your kids, you won't line this place.

My husband and I are expecting our first baby in June. We toured A Child's View today and were less…read morethan impressed. We parked right on Cleveland Ave. right in front of the daycare. There was a woman in the window, looking over 3 toddler aged children. I thought she would've come open the door for me but didn't. I walked up to the door and turned the handle, and was able to let myself right in. First red flag. You should not be operating a daycare where you are able to open the front door to a room full of toddlers as you so please. We walked inside and waited for someone to come to us, someone finally popped her head around the corner as she was chasing a half naked child, and told us the infant room was in a different building (house) behind the one we were in. We walked through the house to the next one and were greeted by another woman. I told her we were there for a meeting with Jim and she brought us through the house to go upstairs to meet him. He wasn't there. He showed up about 2 minutes later. He brought us upstairs and said, "what questions do you have?" One of the questions I asked was how often they sanitize toys, he said, "everyone's been healthy so it depends." I asked what their policy was on sick kids, again I got an answer of "it depends." Then I asked what their security was like, to which he replied "passive". I said I walked right in the front door on Cleveland and he goes, "well yeah, but not to the infant house." It doesn't seem anyone there is credentialed whatsoever, there is absolutely no security, the infant "kitchen" was filthy, it stunk, which is to be expected when you have a bunch of dirty diapers around, but it was less than tolerable. They have no sort of communication process with the parents, other than writing notes to parents at the end of the day/week and no cameras in the "facility" either. Jim was very willy nilly about everything I'd asked, I asked if he had a packet of info he could send me home with, he didn't, and it seemed to have very little structure. I would absolutely not bring my child here.

I was very disappointed with the quality of care, the level of supervision, and the oversight of the owners. My son (who was in the toddler-early preschool age group at the time) had four different teachers during his time at Lexington Kids. Each time one of his teachers left or was fired, the parents were provided with a letter informing us that the teacher was no longer with the school--no more explanation than that. I ended up pulling him out and enrolling him somewhere else. I did not feel like my concerns were listened to or considered by the owners, and my contact information was lost twice. I can't recommend this childcare. Also, my first review of this childcare was reported (presumably by the owners) and removed, and after I posted this second review solely about my own experiences there, I was emailed by the owner and basically asked to take it down. This is an honest review in every way about my experience, and I will not change it.
