PGVS fit me in and what transpired was such great and tender care of my dogs. I'm so grateful. Both dogs are fully recovering but had markedly different courses. Dr Bibb was so great at explaining and really listened to my questions, not just giving me canned answers but truly evaluating my pups individually. His staff was thoughtful and efficient. It was so bad the mold & rat feces and every kind of cockroach and wet lice or wet lice you can find. He started getting weaker and weaker and we took him to Dr McBride Dr McBride said if he can help him he will of course he loves animals but he said his blood count was less than 1% and he was not going to put him through anything like that if he couldn't save him. Well Rusty made quite the impression on Dr McBride. They loved him everybody was good to him you could tell he was happy there when we got to pick him up his blood count was less than one for about 5 days and on the 5th day Dr McBride decided to give him a blood transfusion and that afternoon he was already doing better but he was really sad we got to go visit him and he was just so heartbroken but when he went back in I mean he wasn't like he was dreading going back in so I know they were treating him with love and goodness. If he didn't want to go back in there he would have been fighting because he would want to go home. I believe my dog understood what was going on. Then the day after that transfusion Dr McBride said we can come get him so I went and got him with my daughter and it was a miracle. Dr McBride is the best you can trust him and you can trust his judgment. He is a very good man. He is so busy he has to be short and to the point most of the time but he gave my little rusty and me and my daughter time to come and love him and see he wanted to see him after he was back to his full self again and he called all the staff in said look look at Rusty you know he's the one that was dying. Well $3400 later and ER trip in the middle of the night our dogs has sudden blindness and tremors. Serious complications indeed. I'm very dissatisfied in this veterinarian as they should have been more forthcoming with the accurate information regarding this medication. I'm also upset at myself that I didn't further investigate, but most people take the word of a professional. I will be moving our animals elsewhere and am considering taking legal action.
