Nice layout, and this course has come a long ways in the last 5 years. Their staff has always been friendly and helpful to me personally. I do wish they had rangers who would enforce pace of play and would remind people to repair their ball marks on the greens. But overall I think it's a great track! read more

$72 weekend rates. No senior or veteran discounts. Fairway, rough and tee boxes are full of bare spots and very poorly maintained. Greens are full of divots and moderately maintained. Course is located just minutes from my home and been playing there for 8 years but will never play there again at these ridiculous rates! Premium rates for poor quality! You'll be better off at a municipal course! I hate that I have to write a bad review for this course as it's so convenient for me to go but I can't justify paying that much for such poor quality. read more

After reading the numerous reviews about rude groundskeepers I have to say I agree. Was about to hit onto a green and a groundskeeper saw me and started watering the green, making me wait and making the green wet for me to play on. Another one got in my face yelling at me because I misunderstood a roped off part of the area (because about 90% of the course's fairways are roped off) and was completely unprofessional about it. It's a beautiful course but again I have to agree that's the staff is very rude and pretentious here. Wouldn't recommend. read more

great course, BUT... these guys are working hard to make the course presentable, challenging and a nice environment to play. However, they do the crappiest job of policing the greens and requiring players to fix their ball marks... IS IT TOO DIFFICULT TO PUT A SIGN ON THE GREEN TO FIX BALL MARKS??? With so many new golfers these days, most without an adequate understanding of the rules and edicate of golf, it's up to the course and it's rangers , management etc., to educate. there is nothing worse than to walk up to the geeen and have to fix literally 5-10 ball marks from previous players so you can finish the hole. Played 18 2/23/24. We have played multiple times and everything all the staff are great. Super helpful and understanding. We were a few minutes late to our tee time, didn't receive any hassle from the team. We always have a handicap rider and every time they ask if we need help. The course does have a few rough spots but all in all, we will continue to go back read more

Grounds keeper and his staff were very unprofessional, almost to the point of a very bad conflict. Was playing the course and they were watering two of the fairways , at this point had standing water in them, would not turn the irrigation off to let was play the hole. Had to drive on the path being sprayed with water. Asked why he would not turn it off to let us play the hole and his response was 3.000 dollars of sod needed water. At this point we made a statement that we would not be back, his reply, that fine we have enough people playing here. That's it for me will not go back. read more

Well maintained golf course with challenging holes. Staff is very courteous and friendly. The Clubhouse is located in an old farmhouse but is in the middle of a huge facelift. It will look so gorgeous. We are hoping a good restaurant with healthier offerings than the typical bar foods of the area will open here. Can't wait to see it finished. We golfed here twice even though it's much farther than courses closer to our house. Definitely a lovely place to spend the day. read more

Pretty solid golf course. The wife was out of town so I wanted something to fill my morning with.. Cedar Crest was the perfect solution. The staff friendly all around, with the club house being receptive and friendly.. The beer cart gal was nice.. gave me some ice for my water since it was 100 degrees. The course was in pretty good condition.. the greens were a bit dry and wouldn't hold many approach shots, but its been hot with minimal water. They didn't have many dead spots, so they were fine. The layout of the course is user friendly, but can take a few strokes from you on the back as it tightens up a little bit on some of the holes. read more

THIEVES!!! This is a review of the staff that work here. I left my range finder by accident a month or so ago, which we have all been guilty of at some point. I called the clubhouse to see if it was left there and they did confirm that they had my rangefinder. I was unable to make it out there for a few weeks so I would call once a week to make sure it was still there. They continued to tell me that it was but an employee was using from time to time. No biggie. The more I called the more I began to get the runaround. I ended up booking a round there on a Sunday and was ready to reclaim my property. I get there and the gentleman at the desk, who's name was Berry, informed me that the worker who uses my rangefinder from time to time accidentally took it home and "is on his way in". Berry asked if I could get it on the turn. So I make the turn... no rangefinder. "He's running really late" Berry told me. I then end my round and still. I rangefinder. Berry comes up and says "the gentleman who has your rangefinder has been fired for stealing and unfortunately your range finder was one of those items". Berry then told me that he would send me a new rangefinder in the mail for the trouble. It's been 2 weeks and no rangefinder. I call the clubhouse and speak with Berry who continues to tell me it's in the mail. I would expect more from a business! What a shame! read more

The fee was $42 for a Saturday morning round. This course is most definitely not worth it. Bad points: The greens are in poor shape with lots of dead spots. Turf care was doing a horrible job of improving the place. There was fresh sod haphazardly thrown on the ground in some areas and all of it looked dead. It looked like they laid the sod, forgot to water it, and when they realized the new sod was dying, they overcompensated with copious amounts of water. The result was lots of mud and standing water in some of the fairways and around the greens. Speaking of poor turf care, on the tenth hole a truck load or two of dirt was dumped in the fairway and a half-assed effort was made to spread the dirt out. There were clods the size of cannonballs lying in the middle of the fairway. There is no excuse for this. Where was the ground crew? Well, I saw one of them sitting in a cart under the shade trees talking on his phone. He definitely wasn't worried about the condition of the course. Oh, watch your ball carefully on the 18th hole. It will easily get lost among the dozens of range balls littering the fairway. There was no attempt being made to clear them off (which is an easy task, you can even talk on your phone while driving the ball retriever). Good points: Hmm, the grill was clean and the girl working it was efficient. That's about all I can say. There was no beverage cart, even though it was a hot Saturday and the course was fairly crowded. I won't be returning, which is sad because this course has a nice layout, scenic, and has a lot of potential. But, it's only a $20 course, not $42. read more
