I've had everything they make and it's never disappointed. Also, last week I had a wedding in Humboldt and got to try out their cakes. Stacy worked with me, sending prompt, clear messages as soon as I reached out. She went out of her way to provide exactly what we wanted, including a special baby gender reveal on one of the cakes (pink on the inside). The price is great and everything looked/tasted perfect. These are great people, and their business has been a wonderful addition to Humboldt.

Everyone at my party was raving about how gorgeous it was and how amazing it tasted. This was actually the fourth cake Sonja has made for me, and every single one has been flawless. The very first cake she ever did for me was back in 2008 for my best friend's bachelorette party. I brought her the invitation, which was a corset design, and she recreated it perfectly. I mean perfectly. Every detail was spot on. I was blown away then, and I'm still blown away now. She's also made two baby shower cakes for me that were just as beautiful and delicious. So when I finally decided to celebrate my 40th birthday, I didn't even have to think twice about who I wanted to make my cake. I knew it had to be Sonja. She is so easy to work with, communicative, and truly gifted at what she does. Her attention to detail, creativity, and talent are unmatched. You can tell she pours her heart into her work, and it shows in every single cake she creates. We did not intend to never eat our cake, but it happened that one year ago when we got married we found ourselves pulled by a million things and never even got to eat our own cake. But, this year for our anniversary, we pulled our specially reserved small cake out of the freezer, following Carla's instructions, and it was SO DELICIOUS. I was stunned a cake could be that good one year after being made. I believe we got the pumpkin spice, cream cheese frosting, and the filling that Carla recommended. Carla herself was sweet, accessible, went above and beyond, and the cake was beautiful. This was a total wedding success. Highly recommend her. I'm not sure if she remembers our particular wedding and cake one year later, but in any case we want to thank this amazing lady who made our day special twice :)

We tried to contact her multiple times and the days after the event to try to figure out what was going on with zero response. She then lied to us multiple times, ignored us, and then finally agreed to give us our money back after multiple failed attempts. She was supposed to mail it to us on a specific day, and never did. We finally ended up getting our money back in person from a family member of hers (weeks late) after she's lied to us multiple times, agreed to multiple terms and never followed through, and we never even got to see a cake at all. I strongly advise everyone to never use this woman for any special events, because she will ruin them by not even showing up with your cake.

Their website featured so many elegant, fun and classic cakes - we knew they would be a great fit for us. Shortly after contacting Sugar Creations, the owner, Rebecca Sutterby met us one afternoon to go over our cake design ideas and color scheme. Soon after emailed us a drawing of the proposed cake. It was everything we wanted - down to the two monkeys and a palm tree. Yep - not traditional, but spot on! The cake was delivered and we were ecstatic - there were so many flavors to choose from, but keeping with our unconventional theme - we went with Lemon, Smores and German Chocolate. It was so great that we almost couldn't wait the full year to enjoy the one tradition of eating the top layer. *** We were not shocked to learn (after booking) that Rebecca has been featured on the Food Network and has won cake decorating challenges. Tonight was my hubby's first visit and he tried the road trip a chocolate, fudge and peanut butter ribbon delight. He will now be a regular! There were not 30+ flavors of ice cream, and the few they did have sadly appeared freezer burned. The coffee set up looked nothing like earlier photos with tons of flavor options. Half the place is a small boutique? The employee was kind.
