She was very accommodating, and very pleasant. I was late for our session and she couldn't be more understanding. She waited while I changed and hair and makeup done. Again she took the pictures with a smile on her face. I'm super excited we found her and had her take my pictures. I can't wait to see them. She has the skill and talent to take beautiful pictures with the patience to handle two toddlers. It was important to us that she captured the personalities of each child and we feel she did more than that. We are so happy that she was part of our lives to capture this chapter of life.

I love Sara Knobel, let me count the ways!…read more I first met Sara in the midst of Covid, when I wanted to have my first family photo session. I am someone who is way more comfortable being behind the camera. Luckily, Sara knew exactly how to lighten the mood and create photos that felt like real life, which is exactly what I was looking for. Over the years, we have done two more shoots with Sara, and each one is better than the last. My only gripe is that I hadn't met her before we got married. I am jealous of the couples who have their weddings documented so lovingly by Sara Knobel photo!

Ashleigh is the worst there is. She showed up to the shoot with baby throwup on her clothes and had…read moreher kids with her. They had terrible manners. She left dirty diapers in my bathroom. She promised me she had a studio, but then, when we went to her "studio" it turned out to be an apartment building she didn't even own. She had me illegally park in someone else's space, and my car got a sticker on it, and I almost got towed. She doesn't have a studio. As a small business owner myself, I know the rules of the road and I know what I can, and can't do. She wanted me to trespass in a building that didn't belong to her. Then, out of nowhere, I hear, banging and yelling on the door... And it turns out it's her mom. Her mom was crying and screaming at her along with profanity. This is the most unprofessional experience I've ever had with a photographer. My clients include Sak's, Macy's etc. I will not be referring any additional models to her or getting her involved in my business with commercial clients ever again.

Karen was the consummate professional at my wedding. She arrived early for every appointment prior…read moreto our wedding was super early the day of the wedding. When I asked her how she felt about shooting a bunch of midwesterners mixed with Cubans, Sicilians and a bunch of women who would micro-manage her, she simply replied "I can herd cats." And that my friends, she did. To give an example of how amazing she was - right in the middle of our group shots, the youngest relative burst into tears. I don't know what happened but Karen pulled the little girl aside away from everyone, whispered in her ear and the little one wiped away her tears, started to smile and got right back in the group shot. Some of my favorite photos are of my aunt with Parkinson's who got up out of her wheel chair to dance with my uncle - they've been married 50+ years - the photo is priceless to me. Our families were all over the place - bossy & laughing and definitely not paying attention - Karen and her lovely husband took beautiful candid shots of two crazy families. Did I mention how personable she was? Quick? YES. Dependable? YES. Approachable? YES. Professional? YES. Whip Smart? YES. And here's one for the books --- we didn't know it but Karen was 5+months pregnant while shooting our wedding and never complained once about being tired. THUMBS WAY UP! Please contact me if you have any questions, I'd be happy to discuss our entire process. Thank you Karen, you rock!

Claire did an amazing job with our wedding. Her work is artistic and her products are beautiful…read more She is very responsive via email which was extremely important for me during the planning stage of the wedding and the waiting period after the wedding. She was very patient and flexible throughout the entire process and on the wedding day itself. My, then, fiancee and I first met her at her house/office in order to peruse her work and we were very impressed. After discussing our photographer choices, we decided to go with Claire because she just had the best products hands down. We were supposed to meet her in Sherman Oaks (the approximate halfway point between my place and her place) to sign the contract, but she got caught up in another shoot with no cellphone service, so she wasn't able to contact us until about fifteen minutes after our scheduled meeting. She contacted me through text that night and apologized for cancelling the appointment on such short notice, and she scheduled a time on the next day to come all the way over to my place to make up for it. Claire has an unteachable knack for catching certain moments, which was apparent in how she photographed our first dance. Because we choreographed our own first dance (and Claire's first time seeing the dance was in real time), I was afraid she would not get certain parts of the routine. To my astonishment, she snapped a photo of every single pose/move we were hoping she would get with her top-notch equipment. She captured so many wonderful pictures throughout our wedding day, so it was extremely difficult to choose from the array of photos she provided us. To our surprise, she did not make us choose and she generously provided us all the lightly retouched photos (on a CD by mail) even though it exceeded the amount we had agreed upon. Although it took a while to receive our detailed, retouched photos and the final album due to personal reasons, she did make it up to us by mailing five free, gorgeous 8.5 x 11 printouts (all of which are on display at our place). Overall, her work is incredible and if we could do it all over again, Claire would be at the top of our list of vendors.
