Our Christmas cards that were supposed to arrive in November got lost in the mail, so we found ourselves (on December 12th) needing a fast, and affordable solution for Christmas cards. A friend recommended Valencia Printers, so I gave them a call. WOW! Lamont asked me to email the artwork to him. I did. He recommended the type of card stock to use and quoted me, telling me he could do them right away. I emailed him with the 'go ahead' at 10:01am, and got an email back at 10:27am "READY FOR PICKUP". TWENTY-SIX MINUTES TOTAL! And on top of that, the price was the same as the cheapest option I found online that had a two-week delivery timeframe and then lost our cards. Crazy fast turnaround time. Extremely competitive pricing. Great customer service. Will use Valencia Printers for all of our printing needs going forward, especially our Christmas cards every year. Thanks, Lamont. It's really disappointing that I'm writing this review because we had such high hopes for this place. My business partner came to this place for pricing and decided that they had the best pricing and the owner, Lamont, was a good guy. So we went with this printer to print our cards. Well, when it came time for our first big order, we didn't hear from him until a few days later through an email saying "Sadly at this point in time I am going to have to suggest you to another business more geared towards the short run. I have been steering away from the short run work at this price level. I would need to charge about 3 to 4 times what I originally quoted to maintain a profit." WTF?! We were screwed because we had to look for another printer at this point to do our printing! There was no re-quote or anything! And why give us the prices he gave us in the first place if he wasn't even making profit off it?!! Awful estimating perhaps?! We will never return to this place.
