She was impatient, dismissive, and curt when I asked for sizes and help. Overall, It was an awkward and uncomfortable experience. I have been a regular customer at Beau & Bauble since they opened in the Junction and I am really appalled to have been treated this way as a friendly neighborhood customer.

But for those who don't fit that description, this Canadian menswear shop is definitely on your radar. With locations in both Vancouver and Toronto, they've been a staple location for exclusives and hard to find, rare sneakers since way back. The emphasis at this location in particular is high end mens fashion. Display shelves are sparsely distributed throughout the store so that you can walk around and interact with various lines of products. Upscale and expensive is definitely the trend, with most of the inventory costing in the $100 and up range. That's to be expected though, as they sell world renowned brands such as Nike, adidas, puma, Reigning Champ, Garbstore, and more. From front to back this store is designed to the nines, with so much breathable space surrounding every product. Sunlight reaches almost midway into the store, which is when you realize just how big and deep it is. There's a balcony and some stairs overlooking a 'pit' which is stocked exclusively with cut and sew pieces. They've put a lot of thinking into this location, and the staff are helpful and courteous. A bit out of the way, for sure, but this is definitely a good place to check out if you're in the area.
