I was sold an Apple pen that did not work. They bought it back for 30 and made me pay the difference because I missed the 30 day window. I literally bought two different adapters and tried to figure it out. Life happens, and things get put on the back burner. I understand policy, but when sold an item that never worked I think you should make exceptions. The workers are all still very pleasant and I can't complain about their service. I strongly advise against purchasing any electronics from this store. I bought a phone on Wednesday and didn't use or set it up. I attempted to return it on Tuesday, November 10, 2025. The cashier informed me that I couldn't return the phone and that they could only buy it back for half the price I paid. When I inquired about their return policies and where I could find them on the receipt, she claimed that they were mentioned to every customer before purchases. However, I had already purchased the phone on Wednesday, and I distinctly remember the cashier not mentioning the return policy. She then lied and said that the manager had checked me out, but I remember it was her. She continued to lie, claiming that since it was a manager, she would have informed me about the return policy. If I had known that I couldn't return the phone, I would never have bought it in the first place. I will never return to this store and will actively discourage others from doing so. read more

I asked the guy how much I could get on my trade in and he said $50, which I really didn't care. My granddaughter purchased a phone which was having problems 5 minutes after leaving the store. Called to say she would be returning the defective phone the next day. Next day told no refunds. Only exchanges. They neglect to post a sign stating no refunds or indicate on receipt no refunds. To return the defective phone back to the store you now have to pay the store 200 to buy back the defective phone from you. A bunch of crooks. Don't waste your money or time at the establishment. Customer service was not very informative I called before making my way over to the store and asked what I would need to bring to sell my PlayStation 4. Cole, the employee giving me the answer to my question said that I needed the console "obviously" (we'll see what else is obvious soon won't we Cole?), the power and HDMI cord, and the DualShock 4. So with my new knowledge, I got what I was informed was required and drove the 20 minutes to get to CDR Electronics. There, I made my way to the desk to sell my PS4 and was asked for my ID and that the process of checking the console's condition was going to take a while so I was told to look around for a bit to pass the time. "So far so good," I say to myself as I take in the store's decor. After a while, the same employee came up to me and delivered the first bad news... I was missing the micro USB cable that connects the PS4 to its controller, deducting the good price of the console by $10. I told them that I was not told to bring said item and to my surprise, they dare to tell me that the employee that told me about what to bring most likely left out the micro USB from my phone call earlier. To admit that the employee "most likely" left it out tells me that other customers "most likely" had this problem SMH... After almost hearing the Karen inside of me, I asked for an alternative. And do you know what they suggested? They suggested that I buy a brand new cable from them!..... Obviously, I denied that "offer" and said that I'd drive back home, get the cord, and drive back. Now that I'm writing this review, I realize that buying the cord would've been useless because I'm paying for the cord that they would have to replace because I didn't bring mine. These employees seem very stingy. Before I left, I noticed a certain ID missing from my wallet. The employee that asked for my ID did not give me back my ID so I had to go back and ask for it. So after retrieving my identity back, I do what I said that I would (because that's how communication works *looks at Cole*) and made it back to the store. I turned in the cable, got my money, and before I could leave, I noticed another customer turning in their PS4 for cash and (are you ready for this?) an employee asked another employee if the 3inch micro USB that the customer turned in was acceptable. I listen in and hear that it was NOT! "It has to be at least 3 feet long" to be accepted. I was even more frustrated now because I was not told about that either!! I could've gone home, gotten my smaller micro USB, get denied and get the final part of the info that I should've gotten from the phone call at the start of this adventure, cry a little, drive another 20 minutes to and from my house, get the money I should've gotten two hours ago and left like nothing happened :( In conclusion, the customer service of this CDR Electronics is very frustrating. From getting three separate info from three separate employees to almost getting talked into buying their stock, I give this CDR ELECTRONICS a 1/5 star review. I might give the other CDR Electronics a visit just to see if my experience will be any better (fingers crossed). I hope that you guys at this CDR Electronics understand where I'm coming from and improve the way you guys communicate with your customers and not allow this to happen again. I would give CDR one start BUT they do have a huge variety of TV shows, electronics, phones, laptops, etc... The store is pretty much a glorified pawn shop with horrible service. Most of the employees are total jerks. The prices are not very good. Electronics are cheaper brand new on amazon and movies/games are cheaper at FYE just down the road. That being said, I've never had problems with a product purchased from CDR, but the customer service and price gouging are enough to make me not want to go back. read more

Terrible customer service/management, the lady manager is very rude! I was ignored the entire time I was in the store as she just talked to her employees. This review is mainly for the NW Expressway store but both locations are really great places to buy & sell electronics. The 240 location is a bit dingy and you see a lot of obviously-high customers in there(bad area) which makes shopping there a bit ehhh, but I've sold several devices there and they always give me a decent price. The NWE location is much cleaner and in a better area so that's the one we usually go to. Last week I bought a note 4 there to replace the carrier phone I hated and my husband got a new tablet, and we couldn't be happier. We adore our new gadgets and we had a fun chat with the employee who helped us. This is the best place get used tech, it's a great way to "upgrade" if you're not eligible yet and without having to spend an arm & a leg. The only downside is that sometimes the carrier-locked devices they sell can have a balance owed by the previous owner, but that's not their fault. They do run ESN checks on every device they buy, but sometimes they do slip through the cracks. Hub's tablet had a balance owed to AT&T so we had to pay a 3rd party to get it unlocked to use on our service, but it was no big deal. You should be fine unless they've been reported stolen. All in all, I love CDR! read more

Bought a used iPhone at CDR. They have a 2 week return policy. After a few days I notices the screen was separating from the body. The screen was a replacement screen. Took it back and the first guy I talked to said he could not find record that I had purchased the phone there. I guess the CDR bar code that I had left on the phone didn't clue him in. We argued back and forth before I finally asked to speak with someone else. After about 15 minutes the second guy found where I had bought it. He claimed the phone was water damaged. Again, I didn't damage the phone. They sold it to me just the way I brought it back. They ultimately game me my money back but treated me like a criminal from the moment I walked in the store. He also had the nerve to tell me he wouldn't sell me another phone. Fine by me as I wasn't planning on buying one! read more

I had A wonderful experience with buying and selling things here. I went to the new Northwest Expressway location and was helped by Yousef and the service was absolutely outstanding! He was very knowledgeable of the products and what I needed. I also purchased a phone, he gave a visual testing that all the necessary components and functions of the phone worked properly, and he took the time to take my Sim card out and reset my phone for me! Beware. Call a friend from any phone you buy from here. I didn't and after I left the store when I tried to call my husband the IME had been locked ....I just purchased a stolen phone. When I took it back the guy (longtime employee) looked "surprised" and said, "oh, we don't sell stolen merchandise!" The manager at the cell provider down the street laughed and said THEY had to tell CDR how to check IME numbers! Good grief...also CDR will tell you one price on the phone but when you go in they have a higher number. Ridiculous. read more

I went in looking for another phone for my boyfriend. Since he doesn't have a contract I figured buying a used phone here would work well. That is if you want to pay out of the wazoo for the phone. Store is okay being they have the widest variety of options for the local area. For those not needing the item right then a better option while also being greatly less expensive for that matter, would be to order online as usual. CDR's policies are pretty self absorbed to be certified retailers. When purchasing a product and within the very first month it breaks you'd think they'd go ahead and honor the manufactures warranty within the first 30 days but unfortunately they won't. And I'm not talking breaking due to unknown or out of the ordinary every day conditions, I'm talking while getting into a vehicle the $35+ protective case that hadn't ever even been dropped nor even accidentally sat on, while clipped to my belt which is what it was designed to do, bound between my leg and my side and just snapped and fell apart. So at the current moment the whole protective casing is useless until going through the whole process of sending and waiting to receive a new piece from the manufacturer plus adding in the cost of shipping and handling of course. What is the purpose of being an authorized or certified retailer of a product if they can't even provide simple services for that product. Where exactly does the certification part to these authorized or certified retailers come into play? They're only certified to sell you a product they have on their shelves and certified to accept your money for those products but not certified to do much of anything beyond that. So the equivalent to the guy down the street selling items in his garage sale, awesome!!! read more

The place is just fine, nice selection and decent prices. How ever the staff that is employed here are the worst!!! That right there is a deal breaker for me any where I go. I would only give one star if possible. While I was waiting to trade in some stuff for new items, they had staff just standing around talking with one another while just one guy was behind the counter. When I asked which counter to go to and trade in my kids games so they could get new ones they seemed like I was butting in on their personal time. While waiting I tried to ask if they had any camo controllers instead of the basic ones because my son like them. They just said what you see is what you get. While once again being rude about it. After finally getting to the one guy I could trade my sons games into. He was professional enough and went to another area and found my son a camo controller. While waiting also I over heard other customers having rude service as well about switching a phone over to his account. The employee argued and told the guy he didn't know what he was talking about once the guy asked to talk with a supervisor the guy told him it wouldn't do any good. I assume another employee over heard the convo and came up and tried to explain to the guy that what he wanted was not possible but once the man basically how to do their job they accomplished what the man needed in the first place. I240 store: Rude people!! If I was the owner I would be ashamed of the people I have running my store. They do not care about customers. I have shopped with them for years no problems until about 6 months ago employees are rude never wanna help you when buying stuff you have to wait an hour. Shop else where! believe this company is running a bait tactic to get new customers into the store. So I made a call to the company and asked how much they give for used ps4s over the phone no questions ask they tell me $150. I drive all the way to okc from Norman to do business with them and they tell me we can give you $110. All over their store it's posted they give $150 for used ps4s. I leave the store pretty upset so I decided to give them a call and ask to speak to the manager. Rudely the person answering refuses to let me speak to one so I again insist. After waiting on hold for 10 mins a manager comes to the phone. I explained the situation. That they could have told me we give up to $150 or change their advertising at their store so I didn't waste my time or gas driving all the way from Norman. The manager is pretty much like sorry your loss. He literally said that. No apology for false advertising, me wasting gas or the employee being rude. So I ask his name. He refuses after 3 times of me asking him he answers LJ and hung up. If they can't honor their word that's fine take down the false advertising and quit promoting false info over the phone so people like me aren't wasting their time or money. I believe instead they advertise that price to bring people in and in person it's different. All of their ps4s in stock and selling are the same price so the condition had nothing to do with this.
