If I could give this company a -10, I would! It all started with a simple order to replace 1 window. When they arrived they ordered 2 windows by mistake. Both of the windows had horrible blue streaks in the glass. I asked if they do a quality control before they install and they said 'no'. Trying to work with the Office Manager, Tracie was a nightmare. She was defensive, rude and unprofessional. I asked the employees for the Owner and they refused to give me his name. The inmates are running this business (asylum). There is no working out issues with them. The fit of the windows showed bands and the corners were crooked. They ordered the wrong size too. Unfortunately, I had to take Tracie, the Office Manager advice and go through legal means. I ordered windows through another local company and am super pleased. They installed the windows for less money and a better warranty! Plus their Office personnel were seamless to work with. On their website, they even have the names of the owners with their pictures. Our experience with CDA Glass was flat awful. CDA Glass ordered and installed the wrong color custom door and refused to do anything about it. Tracy, the "manager," couldn't have been less helpful and was always combative and unprofessional. After multiple attempts to find an amicable solution, our emails were ignored for weeks until our remaining balance was sent to collections. Mistakes and miscommunications happen but it is the way those situations are handled that show the real merit and integrity of a business. In our experience, CDA Glass failed miserably. Please read the dozens of negative reviews across all business review sites and take our collective word that this is not a place that you can trust to do the job right nor have any professional courtesy. read more

I was referred to CDA Glass for a new shower door, to be set at an angle by a local contractor who is doing a minor renovation of our bathroom, specifically to remove the old shower enclosure, expand the shower by @ 25% and to tile the floor and shower walls. The contractor added that CDA Glass "may be expensive." I requested assistance from CDA Glass to send someone to look at our tentative and very simple design to advise us on whether or not they had the appropriate hardware or could install what we envision, BEFORE the contractor can build the new shower pan/floor. I took photos and sent those with a scale drawing to CDA Glass. A very nice lady named Annie tried to assist but said she would have to refer it to their manufacturer. Several days later, after receiving no reply or update, I contacted them again and was simply sent their manufacturer's web address. I went to the website and saw their products, but my question about "what is possible based on the two angles" was unanswered. I requested that CDA Glass send someone with knowledge of installation and THEIR products come for a very quick look and to advise us how we might need to change the floor design or angles based on THEIR products. The reply I got is that they would not come measure anything until the tiles are installed (Catch 22). Another person (not Annie) replied that we need to find a professional who can match design to code, with a "good luck" added. Code is irrelevant in this case, only the angles and availability of the necessary hardware. Apparently, they have enough business and do not want mine, or referrals, or they don't have the skills and knowledge to offer advice which we could readily accept and adopt. What a shame. read more

Worst company ever, don't waste your time or money. I never dealt with a more rude and unprofessional people in my life, they damage product while installation and the technician say it's your fault it broke and you have to pay more for them to fix their own mistakes. No ownership at all, and when you complain about there work the office lady makes threats toward the customer and yells using profanity. Save your self the headache and use another company. CDA Glass should be shut down ASAP. read more

I wish I could say I recommend them but I absolutely don't. When the general manager called me back to clear up a miscommunication, she was rude, completely dismissive and unwilling to fix the problem. After the measurement was taken of our window, there was no written bid or paperwork. We unfortunately paid for the amount over the phone, assuming they'd replace the whole 1920s window and not half. They came recommended for glass installation, yet getting a returned call or a visit (at the scheduled time) was a very different experience because of their very confrontational customer service contact "Tracy". I stopped in and coordinated a visit for them to come and measure for a shower. Spoke to a gentleman and he was really nice and professional. Soon Tracy scheduled me for an appointment between 1PM and 3PM. Well, no one showed so we called and it was around 2:30 still within our window. Tracy informed us she couldnt get the driver who I believe was Chris on the line but were still within our window. So, 3:30 came around and we called again. Tracy answered and got ahold of Chris who said they came by at 11 am (not within our window) and we have no missed calls. So I politely asked if we could please set a new time up for the morning, they accommodated for 8:30 AM. Perfect! Until no one showed or called, so I called at 11am and again got Tracy, she said they were there and couldn't get through our complex gate, which has a directory to call us at the house or call our cell phone. Well, Tracy told us go find someone else, they dont want our business. I don't do business like this so there had to be a misunderstanding, maybe there calling an incorrect number. Etc. so I stopped by there office to make peace. Spoke to two gentleman who were super cool and explained the situation. They were accommodating and said, no problem took my cell and I even gave them the residential gate code to enter the complex. They said Tracy and Susan are a bit complicated to work with, no problem and they will tell them I'm a cool guy and reschedule. Well, the next morning, Tracy called me I'm thinking to schedule. She was upset I stopped in and talked to the other members and told me she asked me to find another company. I told her she is not being very professional and to please remember they came at the incorrect time first. She didn't want to hear it and wanted to speak over me saying she doesn't want to argue about it. Great Experience, right! Very unprofessional and they need to get rid of those two ladies or just not let them have contact with customers. This is an excellent company to do business with. They put all the windows, mirrors and bathroom showers in my home when I built 14 years ago. I've had several warranty replacements over the years and Burt and Cal the 2 brothers who own and run this company have given me the best service ever. Their integrity and honesty is tops. Hired to install two shower doors. Mis-measured one door panel area twice and had to throw out two panels that didn't work. First time they delivered the master shower door they had the wrong hinges for the install. Two weeks later they returned, but could not get the door to fit. Technician wanted to charge us for the door when he was clearly at fault. Terminated the relationship and hired someone else to do the job. Technician was a blamer who refused to take responsibility for his own mistakes. Paid for half the job and don't even have one working shower door. Just picked up my livingroom window which we accidentally broke. This is a no hassle company. Took our sash in with chards of glass still in the sash and it was handed over to CDA glass. It was a week before we got it back but they kept us informed as to the progress of what was happening to its repair. Picked up the window today and it is back in its place in our livingroom. I can not recommend this company. I had a bathroom remodeled. Cda Glass was contracted to install the shower door and a large mirror. The mirror install was messed up and delayed for weeks. The shower door they brought was the wrong one. I Told them, no problem, you can bring the correct door out when the mirror delivery and install is scheduled. That day came along and they didn't show up at all. I had a houseguest coming the following morning who would be using that bathroom. ..I couldn't get them to budge on rushing the install. It took three weeks to get a callback from their general manager who was rude and zero help in getting the problem resolved. She also wouldn't give me the business owner's name...I feel they should know. I suspect this business has recently changed owners because they have been excellent in the past. I will miss working with them as will everyone else in my condo complex. read more

Our downstairs window frames (11 windows) were aluminum and in good shape, so we opted just to replace the old glass panes with low-E glass. They replaced all of the glass and did a great job... the windows look brand new! read more

Went to the business directly to make an apt to repair the broken glass in a window. Appt was set for 2 days later, and a phone call in AM to provide time. No call morning of appt. Called business and was told some one would call me 30 minutes prior to showing, no guestimate as to what time of day. So an all day wait. Late in afternoon the technician called and said he was busy on another job, wouldn't be out. He did say he would turn in information to desk and let them contact me. Following day did receive a call but would be sometime the following day. Of course this wasn't an appointment to actually repair/replace the glass, but rather to measure and estimate repairs, then another 3-7 days to actually repair. read more
