He not only listened . . . he actually understood the look I was trying to achieve. He sees the subtle coloration in the rocks (as do I) and has a very artistic eye. And, he guided me throughout this process. When I went to the yard to select rocks, I was greeted by Bud, the dog (in addition to the staff). Bud is super cool and was just another positive aspect of this experience for me. I am particular and had a vision in mind, so it was important that the end result achieved the goal. Hans, who was easy-going and quite personable, did the placement work. He moved the gigantic claw arm with utter precision and had an artist's eye for placement! And, he was so very patient as I asked to tweek the rock placement. When the rocks were set, he even used the claw to level out the soil. This experience was PHENOMENAL and my yard is sculpted with boulders and eagerly awaits flowers and ornamental grasses. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!

You can tell they are passionate about what they do and only put out the best quality for the people they serve unlike other construction companies out there who do the bare minimum for more expensive prices. We had this company install gutters on our shed, house, garage, and addition and I did a lot of…read moreresearch before hiring them. I can say with confidence that this is a terrific company to choose for good looking, high quality gutter installation. Our house actually looks BETTER after the gutters than it did before--I kid you not. We had over 200 feet of gutters to run and 8 downspouts, 4 of which were two stories high! So I did my research, starting with over 30 companies in the area. I got five quotes. Melville Construction, a small business run by the original owner's son Coty, stood out to me for many reasons and ended up doing an EXCEPTIONALLY good job for us. Our property was challenging and the quotes we received went clear up to and over $4000. Coty and Jackson did the work for a VERY reasonable, fair price, significantly less than half that, and they saved us a few poor choices along the way. His quote reflected the worst case scenarios and accounted for every possible problem (our remodel and new construction has a lot of potential issues, including angled fascia). In the end, his final invoice was LESS than his estimate! I am pleased with how his work made our home more sound against water penetration and problems. His attention to detail was fantastic, his attention to the asthetics was appreciated, and he was very focused on our ultimate satisfaction. I dreaded having gutters installed because I felt they would stick out and be ugly--but Coty and Jackson made sure it looked good. Our house, honest to goodness, has never looked straighter. My husband and I are blown away by their work, integrity, and overall high value. Why would anyone choose another company with higher prices? Just because you know the name? Give Melville Construction a try. You will be pleased. Nice job, guys, and thank you very much.
