Been coming to this cleaners for a while & have never been disappointed. I used to go to a much more expensive dry cleaner & I never knew what to expect as far as price. With this place I walk in knowing what to expect & don't feel as if I am being ripped off. The location is great the staff is friendly & the prices are awesome. I would recommend this cleaner to anyone who wants their clothes cleaned right & fast & not at a ridiculous price. My daughter's body exfoliate leaked onto her bridesmaid dress. We were panicked and desperate to get it cleaned before the wedding. We needed a fast turnaround (one day). The rudest employees I've ever encountered at an establishment in Naperville. Upon pick-up even worst. The employee acted as though he was going to hand me my garments instead he put them on the rack and walked off. No thank you or have a nice day. I probably would not have written this but my skirt looked like I washed and pressed it myself. I am use to the crisp clean press. This is the second cleaners in the area that performed this wash & press at home look. Wow. I can't believe how soft with no lines or crispness. I was in a bad spot this afternoon. One hour before I was to officiate a wedding and forgot to check my Jacket and of course it was a wrinkled mess. I went into my normal cleaners and they decided not to help me. So I figured forget it it will have to do. By chance I noticed CD one price. I ran in and explained my self induced predicament and the gentleman manning the counter said the steam was off for the day. He saw the disappointment in my eyes then offered to turn them on to help me out if i didn't mind waiting. Of course I accepted and he did a fantastic job! I truly appreciated his kindness! My partner had a very disappointing experience at this cleaners. She dropped off her favorite jacket for dry cleaning and picked it up in plastic wrap. Unfortunately, she did not check the jacket during pickup and later discovered that CD One Price Cleaners had completely ruined her favorite jacket. Absolute HORRIBLE customer service. It's understood that things move slower due to the covid crisis. However, to treat your customers with utter disrespect when you ask "why is my dry cleaning going to take 5 days to get back to me" and they just sarcastically point to a sign at the register that explains the situation with a smirk in their eye you can't help but be a little taken back. Then when you explain you have to use these clothes in two days for work and politely Explain you'll just have to clean them yourself, they say "okay have a great day" with the attitude of "I don't give a sh!#" ..... in this day and age that just doesn't fly in my book. IF YOU'D LIKE YOUR CLOTHES RUINED AND WANT THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AROUND, USE CD ONE PRICE. I had a Michael Kors Thigh Length Down Winter Coat returned to us a different color on 1/4/16! This coat has previously been dry cleaned at other establishments and we have not had any trouble with it. We were given a letter stating that CD One Price Cleaners followed the correct steps in dry cleaning the coat and that it must be a manufacturing issue. We were told to take the letter to the store of purchase and the store should exchange the jacket for a new one. To us this letter states that CD One Price Cleaners is pushing off responsibility onto the manufacturer. In doing this, us the customer, is having to spend time and energy to take the coat into the store. When we, the customer, had nothing to do with the coat getting ruined. In addition, the coat, while still in great shape, is about a year old, so I no longer have the receipt. Similar coats go for $200-$300. What we want and demand is that we are reimbursed for a coat that was ruined by coming to CD One Price Cleaners to have it dry cleaned. The coat has previously been dry cleaned at other establishments without issues. Also we have not received any communication from the store owner to date 1/18/16, when we've been told multiple times he/she would contact us. It has been 2 weeks since we picked up the coat and made first contact with the store regarding this issue. Now I have to go buy a new coat, when my coat still had years of wear left in it... I definitely recommend. I just recently had a funeral for a close family member where I needed my suit and shirts cleaned in a rush. Given the Thanksgiving holiday coming up, you know things are hectic with people needing clothes cleaned. I explained the situation in that I needed a kind of rush, & they were very understanding & professional. They had them ready with time to spare, & I can't be thankful enough to them because they took that stress off of my shoulders (the clothes looked great on top of it). This place used to be great. The prices went up but they were still still friendly (Ben was the best!) and performed adequately. There has been an ownership change and the place has gone so far downhill. I have been coming here for about 8 years with only one ruined pair of pants, which they paid for. In the past 60 days they have ruined 2 of my shirts, one of my wife's dresses, and lost 4 shirts! It took them about 30 days to find the shirts but would not take accountability for the clothes they ruined. I reminded them if how long I have been a customer and they told me it made no difference. Spend your money at a better establishment. These owners don't deserve your business. read more

I recently changed my rating from 4 stars given back on 3/22/14 to 1 star due to the lack of customer service, professionalism, and quality of the franchise owner Bianca. I recently had 3 pair of khakis that were stained while being laundered. They offered to wash them again to remove the stain- after which the stains were improved but still visible. At this time the assistant manager asked me to fill out a claim form and said I would be contacted in 14 days. After 14 days I called back about the status of my claim- they said they had attempted another wash-- I swung by and noted there were still stains, although much improved. The assistant manager agreed and said again the owners would contact me. I finally went an purchased new pants for work and contacted CD Cleaners again 18 days after- at which time they finally returned my call and said there was nothing they could do. Ben, the manager said it was my fault for choosing to get my pants startched- Which I asked them NOT to do and they did anyways, then he said it was my fault for asking for laundry versus wet wash. I had no idea what the difference was and there are no signs explaining the difference. Basically they could do nothing. I asked him to reconsider and he put me in contact with his wife Bianca who at every opportunity failed to exhibited good customer service. At one point she blamed me for this whole thing and said I should not have asked for starch. 1) I didn't ask for it, I specifically asked to not have them starch- in fact there was a blue tag stating NO STARTCH on the belt loop of each pair of paints 2) If your process for starching causes stains- maybe you should fix it? I have been going to this location for 3 years and cannot believe how poorly I was treated. I enjoyed coming here and how convenient it was. But unfortunately the service provided wasn't what I paid for nor were they able to resolve it. Special note: Bianca is a bully. She either was having a bad day or didn't want to part with the money she owed me. The total amount was nothing compared to what I spent a year there. Please consider this is truly a he said she said issue so perhaps your experience will be better or they make improvements as a result of this feedback. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!! Zero stars if possible. On 3/18/2016 I dropped off a ton of dry cleaning. I used to use this location a lot in the past and due to job changes and not driving past as often, I had stopped using them. During that time I had taken my Via Spiga wool winter coat to other dry cleaners and successfully had it cleaned (the label on the coat says "Dry Clean" just to be clear). Recently I began working in the area again so brought my coat and other items to be dry cleaned. On 3/21/2016 I picked up my dry cleaning and they handed it to me and would have let me walk right out the door without a word! Thankfully, I opened up the plastic and inspected the first item- my coat. My coat was ruined- all of the faux leather patches on the coat had holes in them as if an animal had been gnawing on it. It looks absolutely HORRIBLE! They had me fill out a claim form, but of course, the coat is a few years old so I no longer have the receipt. I do remember paying about $200 for it at Carson's. They assured me the owner would be calling me within 15 business days. I did not hear from anyone. On the 16th business day (4/11) I called the store early in the morning and they told me the owner (Ben) would be coming in that day around 10:30 a.m. and would call me. He did not call. On the 18th business day (4/13) I called again and the manager told me Ben was out of town and would call me that Saturday the 16th and that he was well aware of the situation. I still have not heard from him and today is 4/19, the 21st business day. I just emailed the Corporate Offices so here's hoping they can do something about this. What bugs me is that they still have my coat (I hope!) and I have not been reimbursed for the actual dry cleaning nor have I been compensated for my ruined coat. This was my favorite coat and was in great shape; I only used it as a dress coat. Considering how much I paid for it, which is a lot of money for me, and it being my favorite and no longer available for purchase (I even attempted to contact the manufacturer), I am completely devastated. Warning don't take your comforter here. I took two comforters to this location . When I picked the comforters up I didn't check them out. However, when I did check them out one of them had two huge stains and 4 cuts. I immediately contacted the facility. I took the comforter in so they could see. Immediately they said they I brought it in this condition and there was nothing they could do. I explained to them that The comforters I brought in didn't have stains or cuts. I dropped off my clothes on Saturday at 10:30am. I saw on the receipt that the clothes wouldn't get back to me until Monday after 5pm even though I dropped off only 30 mins past the same day delivery and the location is open on Sunday. I asked the place if I can take my clothes back and the representative said there was no way I can give your clothes back to you until Monday after 5pm. I explained to her that I had to go to a funeral and I would just need my clothes back. The representative said sorry we cannot give your clothes back to you until Monday after 5pm. I've used CD One Price Cleaners on Ogden for several years. Lately, this place - as many other reviewers noted - went down the drain. Prices almost doubled, yet quality of work has gone down. They ruined several of my shirts - some were returned covered in dark stains, and most recently, a shirt was returned with a torn collar and a huge tear on the sleeve. Despite having been promised a call back about the shirt in 'a couple of days', no one called, and only when I went back to them a week later, the owner of this franchise returned my call. He claimed that the shirt was old and that's why the damage happened, essentially denying any responsibility. Time to look for a new dry cleaners! Please avoid. read more

They tell us they do not know where the stains have come. I am pretty sure these happened at their place. I guess they need to clean their machinery and tools. I decided to stay away from them. He promised that I would get a call on Saturday and as of Monday I had to call the store. I did not hear from Ben until I completed a honest survey.
