I am normally a "Pretty Kitty" fan but the excessive price kept me from being a regular costumer. As a college student struggling to pay rent, I needed a better alternative and let me tell you, I FOUND IT. Even if Lovely Lash Bar was not more affordable I would still prefer it. At the Lovely Lash Bar, they use hard wax instead of the wax strips. This was the first time I've ever encountered this wax but I was pleasantly surprised. Hard wax is applied directly to the skin and once dry, is pulled off. I did not feel a difference compared to the strip wax. My esthetician Naomi, was great. She was very thorough and took her time with the service. I would much rather have someone who takes their time and pays attention to detail than someone who rushes through the process and is not detail-oriented (which has happened at the Pretty Kitty, despite the outrageous price). This being my first time with this wax, she explained the difference and made me feel at ease. I absolutely loved this place and I will be going back in 4 weeks for my follow up wax.
