There was overflowing trash cans in every area, trash all over the fields and nobody from the city clearing anything out. None of the porta potties had water in the hand washing stations first thing Sunday morning, also the fields are in bad shape with dangerous divots/holes and uneven playing surfaces. Yes, it's conveniently located next to many shopping centers and eateries, but in no way would I make this the main hub field for all future tournaments. I didn't like the fact that each field was separated by a road or parking lot as vehicles impatiently speed thru making it dangerous for the kids, definitely one of the worst fields/parks we have been to play soccer at over many years.

On the south end of the park is a hill where a bunch of ground squirrels live. Chasing these will definitely tire one out. I'm exhausted after only a few minutes. I wish I had a dog to share in the fun. Those little squirrels are fast! Especially the ones with foaming mouths. Picnic tables and benches are plentiful. Most are shaded. My favorite are the benches on top of the hill. You can get a beautiful view of the surrounding area and further on to the San Bernardino mountains, which at present time are snowcapped. If you enjoy bird watching, you'll see a nice variety. Raven, Hawk, sparrow, robbin, and humming. A flock of geese flew over as I was writing this. Behind the park are rocky hills for the kids to explore. I didn't climb them as I was too tired from chasing the squirrels. Plus, I wasn't feeling too good after one of the foamy ones bit me. Not sure why everyone is hellbent on meeting with people to go over a basic ed plan, AI will do it for you and better. I really don't understand all the negative reviews; people actually point out their faults and shortcomings in the navigating process but somehow its somebody else's fault. "I had good grades, but I turned in some work late and got a fail" really, take some responsibility. Sure, I can understand that its overwhelming at times, and downright frustrating to not get answers right when we want them. But you have to understand the scope of this type of institution. Every year its the same, predictable even. Yet most complaints are just gripes about how their experience was "tough" because nobody helped them personally, welcome to the real world. You look out for yourself. You will have to be the squeaky wheel to get the grease. Ask lots of questions and don't be afraid to rattle some cages. Afterall the people who work at RCC are just people, forget attitudes and personal feelings towards the staff. Remember you're there for a personal goal and that should be your focus. If one counselor is not helpful go to another one. If you don't like the way your degree is shaping out, change it. Don't be a complainer who does nothing about it. RCC is great, really people don't hesitate to ask your professors questions, they are for the most part really down to earth people trying to make a difference. I passed all the assignments but I was late turning in the lab work and received two fails as my final grade. Even though I passed 95% of the work with better than 80% scores. That's my complaint.

Kids getting into fights, not listening, or just running out of line. Security seemed to manage it well though considering. Staff all have walkie-talkies and can communicate with each other that way. Security is good. They are on the ball. I think they could use more security for the behaviors they have to manage. Teachers are great. They do the best with what they have. Teachers are very patient with students. The lunch area is pretty basic. The school itself could use some TLC. But it isn't horrible.
