I have been, after about 4 weeks I stopped receiving responses to my requests. I simply asked whether they foresaw an opening or if I should move on, and again, no response. I find this really unprofessional as I've now wasted over 4 weeks waiting with the hopes of an availability based on the timeframes suggested. It's really rude to be completely ignored when they could've simply told me to look elsewhere after 4 weeks of follow-up.
