Therapy can help heal from past and current trauma as it offers problem-solving skills and support.
I am a Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist, whose passion is to work collaboratively with those seeking positive change to behaviours that restricts them, negatively impacts their daily living, and reduce quality of life.
I use a holistic approach to achieve positive outcomes by assisting clients understand how their relationships, physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health impacts their overall well-being. My practice is client-centered, anti-oppressive, and trauma-focused. Modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Strength-Based and Solution Focused are also used. I easily connect with individuals of all age groups, social backgrounds, and cultures. I provide a non-judgmental, empathetic, and supportive environment to clients as they explore their options and learn new coping skills to manage obstacles on their own.
I provide Brief and Long-Term Psychotherapy. Due to significant experience in the Child Welfare System and Ontario Youth Justice System, I also consult on Children's Aid Society matters and youth involved with the justice system.
