While the weeds were removed, the work was not performed professionally: * Large chunks of concrete/stone were left mixed into the gravel. A large pile of debris was also left in my drive. * The edges were ragged and uneven. * Deep equipment ruts and drag marks were never graded out leaving long, tall humps of gravel. I posted a picture of his work on Facebook, and he blocked me. A picture of HIS OWN WORK. When I left a voicemail requesting a resolution, Chris returned my call. Instead of discussing the work, he cursed at me, called me a "dumb effing bitch", told me he "doesn't care what I think," and said to "sue him." When I asked him to please be professional, he said, "I'm a construction worker, not a professional." Clearly. No homeowner should be treated this way when they raise concerns about workmanship. I cannot recommend this company based on both the quality of the work and the unprofessional conduct I experienced. Chris texted me. Repeatedly called me trash and a low life. He kept insisting that we hadn't paid him, clearly an effort to bolster his defense in the event of a lawsuit. I've also attached a picture of him agreeing to send a receipt. Helmling was one of the few excavators that said they could bore the line rather than trench it through my yard. I knew it could be done because the gas company had put in a new supply line the year before. Bored it, very accurate, pretty neat. In April we agreed on the job and a price. One price for the outside portion, another price for the inside plumbing connection. Then, for six months, he kept putting me off, one reason after another. Could never come to do the job. I stayed with him cos he was going to bore it, not trench it. After many months though, I started looking around for another contractor, one who might actually show up. Still, I didn't want to deal with the aftermath of a trench from the road up to the house. Finally, one day in October he calls and says he'll be out Monday morning to do the job. Great. Monday morning, before dawn, I see his truck out on the road briefly, then he calls me. He sounds a little panicked, or tense. Says he misquoted the job. He didn't realize something about where the water line was in the road (even though it had been thoroughly marked at least twice by Benchmark in this time) Now the job was going to cost more. He said he would do the outside portion, but it was going to cost the total of what we'd agreed on for the outside and inside. So the day of the job he raises the price 10%. I could afford it and wanted the job done, so I agreed. The crew shows up. They're digging a hole through the asphalt in the road, and another foxhole in my yard. Then he comes up to me and says he can't bore it, he's going to have to trench it. 140' through my yard. At this point I'm kinda stuck. Wasn't sure what my options were so to get the job over with, I said to go ahead. The line was installed. They did a hasty and sloppy job backfilling over it. Now, 5 months later, I'm looking at a mess in my yard that's going to take many hours of shovel and wheelbarrow work to repair. There are sections of the trench that have sunk well below ground level, other areas with mounds of dirt that will need to be moved. I did get a functioning water line. But if you're thinking of using these guys, save yourself a headache. I think you can do better. (If Helmling would like to come by and do the landscape repair, I'll happily edit this review to show that.)

A week goes by, no hearing back. I called on July 22 and the lady said "oh yeah, Ron stopped by your properties and he thinks it is a waste of money to do the coat of sealant". What? do I deserve to know???? what about the other property? Had I not called again after 2 weeks, would they have called? It was very unprofessional without the courtesy to call me and give me insight about what is needed, or to say we cant do this service or anything. I asked if he could call me so I learn what is needed. some days pass by and no call till finally I received a call from Ron who made things too much worse by saying on the phone "I called you but you did not pick up", which was very unprofessional and childish since people leave voice messages. I am not a guy who has full mailbox or a vm that is not setup yet; and it was very low because he lied as he never called me....well, unless he called from a spam number. The quality of this company's work seems to be good from what I see in town, so my review here is about professionalism in communication (or lack thereof) and the honesty of words.

My wife and I had a major home improvement remodel project in late 2019 and into early 2020. We had…read morebeen considering this work for more than a year and had been investigating contractors in our area. We reached out to Jamie Smith at Natural Falls Construction on a Sunday morning just to find out his availability. After a short phone conversation he offered to visit our home that day. We were pleased with his vision and thoughts as we described the elements of the project we were considering. The project scope included remodeling the kitchen and dinette area into a single space and opening the space to integrate the formal dining room. The original kitchen layout was such that the refrigerator location caused some congestion through the kitchen when entering the house from the attached garage. To resolve this the refrigerator location was moved as part of the opening to the formal dining room. We also contacted a second contractor who visited with us later that week. At this second visit the contractor listened to our concept and requirements but did not offer any specific ideas. He recorded some measurements for the cabinets he was planning. After receiving both estimates we were impressed with the detail provided in the Natural Falls document and most importantly the cabinetry work he included in his estimate was to be custom for the space, not standard size units as proposed by the second contractor. Ultimately, we were so pleased with the proposed plan by Jamie that we expanded the project scope beyond the kitchen and dinette areas to include the family room as well as a total reconstruction of the first floor half bath and flooring into the laundry room. Finally, this project was performed as the Covid 19 pandemic evolved and although this caused some delays this did not result in any work shortcuts. We are very happy with the space we now have and with the increased value of our home!

NIGHTMARE- I grew up as Jamie's neighbor, he was friends with my brothers, and we stayed in touch…read moreafter 40 years so naturally I considered him when remodeling my kitchen. What a mistake!!! He left $56,500 worth of cabinetry in the sweltering heat and humidity in Florida 'Beverly Hillbilly' style with over 100 degree heat index and forecasted storms without my prior consent or knowledge that he didn't schedule his installer to arrive for more than a week away! He drove off without even mentioning that detail. EVERY single cabinet was either damaged, mismeasured, built to the wrong specifications, missing shelves, drawers, door fronts, pullouts, or return panels!!! I've been left with no choice other than to bring the details and the facts to the court for a matter of public record and not public opinion. These photos speak for themselves otherwise. Update: 6/27/23 in response to Owner - Refer to all photos on all review sites for what Jamie considers "above and beyond", "complete", and damage resulting from "all necessary precautions to protect your cabinets" and decide for yourself if this is the level of service or craftsmanship you expect when spending $56,000... Also, he IS YOUR employee and installer, you delivered the cabinets in HIS dump trailer covered in a tarp with no packing materials, YOU scheduled him to come down for install and recover his dump trailer, and you REIMBURSED him for his travel expenses. I was introduced to him by YOU!

Joe Miceli and his team did a fantastic job at our home, where they replaced our cracked and…read moreheaving driveway, sunken front walk, and patio. We are now the envy of our neighbors, many of whom have gone out of their way to tell us how nice the driveway and walk now look. Joe was great about assessing what had happened to our concrete and came up with a solid plan for remediation and improvement. One of the issues we had was a poorly cut curb when the city put in the curbs years ago--it never aligned well with our apron, creating an awkward and bumpy approach into our driveway. Joe knew just what to do, fixing it so we now could enter the driveway smoothly. Our new front walk no longer is a hazard and Joe put a graceful, gradual rise from the drive to the front door that eliminated the need for a step. The patio is no longer sunken and is now where it should be in height from the back door. I couldn't say enough about the work and integrity of Joe Miceli. He stuck to the contract and did some beautiful work at what we feel was an incredibly fair price.
