It was almost 10pm when she saw my child waiting for over an hour (but this is completely understandable) yet she didn't understand why he was cranky and couldn't hold still to a very sensitive part of his body. This was not cold or flu injury. This was a laceration injury. she was in a bad mood because she said she had a cold. There was no comfort and compassion for my child's injury. I eventually I had to pin my kid down just so she didn't walk out of the room for the second time to check on the injury. She made a comment towards his attitude yes his bedtime is 8 and he's tired and hurt. My child indeed needed medical attention with a specialist and a follow up to make sure it was healing. I am surprised she's a paediatrician because she doesn't seem to like kids or doesn't have any tips or tricks to make a child comfortable. No maternal instincts kicked in. Reception was kind and nice. And overall it is clean. I am sure great doctors work here, as well. I am only hoping it was a bad day. I had to explain to my son on the car ride that it wasn't their fault he was so scared.

For over 6 years I have visited the Treatment Room, I started going to The Treatment Room because I…read morehad made a mess of myself......tendinitis in my calfs from running, repetitive motion injuries, and plantar fasciitis in my feet. I was skeptical of Massage Therapists because the ones that I had treatment from in the past were not proficient enough to assist me with rectifying my injuries and conditions, and let's say they didn't give forth a great effort. The RMT's at The Treatment Room actually care about your health, they are constantly improving because they care about the patients and their practice. Every visit you will have the same consistency of care (100 percent effort). The rooms are clean with calming decor and the RMT's are as professional as it gets. I recently moved to Edmonton Alberta 2 years ago and I am still looking at trying to find a RMT practice that even comes close to The Treatment Room. You will not find a better practice out there.

I was looking for: - a bit of ambiance (vs. a clinical/sports massage experience) - a knowledgeable and experienced RMT - a clean and comfortable experience - just the right amount of pressure (mix of deep pressure and relaxation) *If you're offered an essential oil during your massage (Rosewood!), that's a bonus! I'm getting ready to go on maternity leave within the next 2 months, and I'm booked for a massage every week! The Treatment Room is great and conveniently located near Chester Station. My only hesitation about recommending it, is that it may cause the massage schedule to fill up! :)
