Nice shop with helpful staff. Their delta selection was really good. Their prices were really reasonable.

He didn't listen very well and even talked over me when I had a question. He was more interested in driving sales. I've been to other GNC locations and have been made aware of the return policy which is great BTW. They said if something didn't work or I didn't like it, return it and they will help me find something that will work for me. Anyways, I finally got out of the store. My husband was waiting in the car. I opened up one of the bars and tried a bite it was disgusting I spit out. We went and ran other errands before it got too late and then went back to GNC to return the bars of thr same flavors. My first experience was so annoying and awkward we sat in the car debating on who should go in to return it. I wondered if I should go in because he knew I just bought them, or if my husband should go in to cut the BS short so we could go home. We decided to both go in. Had some other protein bars that were the same flavor that I wanted to return. The store was closing in 10 minutes and he didn't seem like he wanted to help me. He kept making jokes about how he wanted to go home, but I think he wasn't joking. He was refusing to exchange or return them, but I wasn't sure if he was kidding so I just stood there until he did something. He said he would figure something out. I told him not to do anything you shouldn't. If I can't return or exchange them, I was fine with it. I understood. He said no and it will be fine. He eventually gave me my money back, which I do appreciate. The process of a return took a little time so I think that's why he didn't want to do it. He wanted to go home. He made it very clear. Plus there were a couple guys that were in there when I went in the first time and were still there over an hour later. I think he just wanted to hang out with them and chat. Friends maybe? He was a nice guy, but he needed to be a little more customer friendly. I get it. I can dish out sarcasm with the best of them, but there's a time and a place for it. The store has great selection. The bars are buy 3 get 1 free. Awesome deal!! There are lots of products, TRUST ME. He showed them all to me.... I will keep shopping at GNC of course but maybe not this location. Unfortunately we're thinking of moving into this area. GNC has become a large part of my life and I don't want to frequent the store that's going to make me feel weird every time.

My first visit to get my card went fine, and I actually had a very positive experience, hence the 3…read morestars vs 1 star. It was at my renewal appointment in December where I had an awful experience. When I went to renew my card, I thought the renewal price was $80, and I was very much mistaken as it was $180, my bad. At the time, I had just switched jobs and was getting significantly less money and my card declined. For context: I'm a student full time averaging 18 credit hrs, I work any time I'm not in school, so I have no days off, limited funds, and work extremely hard to the point where my back and knee issues were expeditiously getting worse. I asked to reschedule to renew for after my next payday, which I still didn't love the idea of as $180 was going to be a large chunk of my paycheck. They asked me if I would be willing to sign up for the monthly membership which essentially finances your renewal cost. At the time, I was so broke and was trying to save as much as I could so I knew I couldn't afford $20 month to month, that's gas money, food money, etc. I could barely afford the $80 for the year I was planning on spending. They proceeded to ask me 3 times why I didn't want to do the membership, in my job I do package sales so i understand they were doing their job, even though it was getting annoying. It got to a point where I had to share my financial situation just so the person could understand why I can't afford the membership. The person pitching the membership, after me saying no 3 times, then said "Someone came in and couldn't do the $180 renewal, but then he went out and doordashed for an hour and got $20 so he could start his membership! Maybe you could do that right now and start your first payment?" I was shocked and appalled. I had just finished expressing how I have no time and no funds and said no 3 times prior. As someone who does similar sales with my job, I was understanding up to that point. It was so insulting and disrespectful after being open about my financial situation to strangers. Because of money, I was already in a dark place and I ended up crying when I got home and throughout the following week. I went home and canceled my next appointment and I do not plan on ever going back. I am just now in a financial place where I could renew, but when I do I am not going back here. Super disappointed as my first visit was fantastic. In this economy and world, it is not the time to be overly pushy with sales and memberships when people are struggling to put food on the table
