I referred my boyfriend to this company because he loved my apartment so much. I loved this unit because it had 1 1/2 bathrooms which was a nice touch if we had visitors or the other bathroom was taken. It was also within reasonable driving distance to the highway, and other attractions around town. A private garage was also available for people to rent. When we moved away from Michigan, we were really sad to move away from these properties because they truly valued their customers. We actually looked to see if they had any properties in Pennsylvania but they didn't Koetje, you should consider owning some properties here, I'd move in!!). The communities were very clean. The maintenance employees were friendly and approachable. Still, I think the best part of the company was the management team. I continue to have many friends who reside in Michigan, and I continue to refer them to Koetje properties. You will not be disappointed, and that is why I decided to write this review 16 months after having moved away.

They bent over backwards to make sure that our old security deposit was rolled over to the new apartment. They have been very helpful with any issues in the apartment(wear and tear or my fault) They keep everything plowed well and i never worry about having a parking spot available. Our move was complicated by our coming to Grand Rapids from northern lllinois. One senior…read moreorganization near our home helped me with sorting, tossing, downsizing in preparation for selling our house and moving. After a brief difficulty communicating what I wanted from our out-of-state move, their team of four young men came from GR to IL to pack us up and move us. Jayden called just before they were to come--that communication was extremely helpful, reassuring. Their team was open to working with the local woman who had been helping me get ready. The packing was appropriate. They kept VERY detailed inventory. Everything came thru safely. After arriving, when I couldn't find one valuable art item , Jayden made a separate trip over to help me find it. And he went above and beyond (on Ebay) to replace a special drinking glass that broke (and isn't made anymore). Frankly, the post-move help has been as helpful as the move itself! My only complaint has been that the boxes were not as well-labeled as I would have liked (I know that takes them extra time during packing, but . . . ). And heavy boxes got stacked too high in the new garage for me to handle. Again, Jayden and his team responded to my requests for help with this issue. All in all, we were well cared for and appreciate their hard work, from owner Jeanne Jones, to office staff, to Jayden and his team, to additional staff who helped unpack. Thank you all!

Also the owner, Al, came out to personally look at it while his crew was working and made sure he came and talked to me so that he knew for sure I was happy with the work. What impressed me the most is he saw something that his crew did on the roof that wasn't good quality so he made them redo it the right way. He could have left it that way and I wouldn't have known. But he made sure it was done right. It seems to me that this company really cares about quality! I would definitely recommend these guys. The only negative I can say as of now is we have found a lot of roofing nails, especially in our garage area. But it still doesn't take away from the 5 star service.

He set up equipment, removed floor trim and helped move the refrigerator to reach behind it. He detailed the corners, edges and transitions. We appreciated how careful he was around cabinets, islands and appliances. His choice of finish beautified the natural wood grain of our American Cherry. A++++++++++
