Very saucy and salty Mexican food in a low-key setting. Menu was pretty standard (large selection of combos), service was friendly. The place was a little hot around dinner time; no central AC but they did have two window units going. Complimentary chips & salsa is always a plus. The food was plentiful but just a bit too saucy and salty for our taste. Each of the entrees we got were smothered/dripping in sauce and the beans that came with the combos were more like bean soup. Entrees also felt a bit heavy on rice and tortilla as opposed to other, fresher fillings. My fajita burrito didn't have a ton of peppers and my kid's burrito was mostly filled with rice without many beans. My wife got the enchiladas verdes, which came in a bath of green salsa. read more

Cinco de Mayo! We just had to have Mexican food :) We found this place by accident in the Villas and I'm so glad we did. There is a small parking lot but plenty of street parking. The inside is small but clean and loving the decor. The food was very tasty. Big Yums all arouned! The nachos were tasty. I loved my carne Asada. My friends enjoyed their enchilada and tacos. The tres leches was so good that it needed a separate line in this review. Wow.. I would go there just for the cake! Made in house. The staff/owner was very friendly that it made you want to be friends with him. The son was working/learning. Stopped in for a take out "Wet Burrito" which was smothered in authentic mole sauce and was super tasty, with just the right amount of spice. Sides of rice and refried beans. Called in ahead of time and it just came out when I arrived. Friendly staff with authentic, delicious food. Refried beans were slightly watery but overall this place is great! I got chicken and beef fajitas after close to 40 yrs. They were great. They came with delicious refried beans, rice, 3 flour tortillas, a salad plate of fresh lettuce, tomato, cucumber and avocado slices. Food is not very good. The food doesn't seem very fresh. We had shrimp tacos and pork tacos, with sides of beans and rice. The pork tacos were supposed to have pineapple, and there was none. The beans and rice had virtually no seasoning or flavor. The beans were runny. read more
