Stumbled on this place in a walk around kentlands. This place is so cute! We ordered a HK milk tea…read morewhich was in an adorable rectangular container. Tastes pretty authentic! The dessert was on display by the counter but I can't remember what it was called. There was a mochi layer on the cake with taro. Very fluffy and delicious. Not too sweet (iykyk)!! Worth the visit!!

The mango lava cake was delish. Super light, fresh, and not overly sweet. I also loved the milk tea…read morewith panna cotta. The silky pudding texture in the milk tea is SO good and makes the whole drink even better. Portuguese egg tart was a little too eggy and buttery for me. Felt really heavy - wish it was a bit more caramelized or custardy. Seems really popular though, everyone who came into the shop left with some egg tarts lol. The interior only has very few tables and seats, so it's not really the kind of place I'd sit and hang out for a while. I think most people just grab their desserts to go. There's also a parking lot in the back with plenty of spots, which is nice. My only con is their hours and availability. I went around 2 p.m. (they open at noon), and they only had three desserts available from their whole menu. I was looking forward to getting a whole haul, so that was kind of a bummer. I've also heard they sell out pretty early, so it's hard to plan what you'll actually be able to try. Definitely go earlier or message them if there's something specific you're hoping to get. Would be nice if they can release a menu online too or post on their social media what the menu of the day is...

7.11.25 I had a…read moreGroupon offer so decided to stop in before it expired. They open at 11 AM, however, when I arrived, the doors were locked. At 11:07, I looked into the store and saw movement although the lights were still turned off. The staff member saw me and came to the door. She informed me that they had a last-minute catering request and she needed about 15 minutes before opening the door. She said that if I could come back in 15 minutes that she would offer me a discount. When I returned 15 minutes later, I told her I wanted to order a cinnamon roll. She said that I didn't have to wait earlier if I was just ordering a cinnamon roll. However, she did not ask what I was ordering during our earlier interaction. So that means that I waited for nothing. At the very least, she should have apologized for the inconvenience that I experienced and since I used the Groupon offer, I was not offered anything for waiting. Also, if there is a last-minute catering request, that should not affect the opening of the store. I was disappointed with the service that I received. The only redemption was that the cinnamon roll was really good. I ordered a customized roll with cream cheese, coconut, caramel sauce, Oreo, and pie crumble. It was divine and worth every calorie.

Of course, it smelled amazing when I walked in. I ordered an Old Skool Roll($7). It was soooo good. It was the perfect texture and perfect amount of sweet. All ingredients were fresh and made a noticeable difference in the taste. It was gone in seconds lol, I ate it so quickly. Customer service was very friendly. Interior is cute and was decorated festively for Christmas. There's a few tables away for dine-in. I'll be in area more often now so I'll be back soon! With love, The Picky Pescatarian

Most people, especially on weekends and days off, have time to go out and shop--but you close quite early, which limits that opportunity. These kinds of hours don't make much sense for a popular bakery. It feels more like an office schedule than a customer-focused business. If you had more flexible hours, more people would be able to enjoy the quality you offer.

I should've gotten the smaller box since it'll cost more and you pay by weight, but I tried many things like the Finger Baklava, Rice Cookie, Portokalopita cake slice, Chickpea Cookies, Bamieh, Zulbia, Diamond Baklava, and a Mini Rollet. My faves were the Portokalopita for its custard and slight orange flavor, the Mini Rollet (very simple yet tasty to me), Rice Cookie, and Chickpea Cookie. The chickpea cookie tasted exactly like an Indian sweet or cookie which I loved. I was a bit disappointed with the Zulbia, Bamieh, and Baklava. I expected a stronger rose flavor in the Zulbia and Bamieh. I am also used to Zulbia (or Jalebi) having saffron too. The Baklava was good, but not the best I've had- it was lacking rosewater or orange blossom essence. Overall, glad I came to sample a bunch. There's other pastries I'm still curious to try like the mango cake slice. For a middle eastern pastry review though, it was okay. Not bad.
