Bartender was friendly, but they made my drink wrong twice. We met a group here to celebrate a birthday. It was a fun atmosphere.

Took our twenty's out for a drink and they choose here. This is the perfect dive bar. Inside is dark and cramped with all kinds of memorabilia on the walls. There is a fun big parked out front that of course we had to take pictures with. The patio is unbelievable. It's bigger than the bar . There are all different spots and games out there. Our mixed drinks were kinda bad though. I would just get beer next time.

This place is a legitimate hole. The real deal, swanky dive bar that you'll likely only learn about by word of mouth, because you'd never notice it if you were just driving though the seedy center of Arlington, as it's tucked in amidst rent-by-the-hour motels, used car lots, and bail bondsmen. It's a rarity to find a bar in Tarrant County that seems real. Arlington doesn't have all that many bars in the first place, and most are more like restaurants that happen to serve booze. And Ft. Worth is 99% corporations--chain bars with 40 year old women dressed like school girls or modeled to look like an Irish pub. I don't know what Cave's is trying to look like. Perhaps a cool lounge. In any case, it doesn't try to hard and may even fail, and it's all the better for it. The place does get crowded and it is filled with smoke...but it's a freaking bar. If you want peace & quiet & comfort, you probably shouldn't be in a bar in the first place. Complaining about smoke is almost as bad as saying the bathrooms aren't very clean. Many people mention the jukebox, which is better than most and avoids the standard X-rock frat boy music for the most part. And the drinks are ridiculously cheap at times--even on weekends you can get a $2 drink.

Eclectic pieces through out the bar!

Stopped in on Karaoke night. All the singers were entertaining weather their voice was good or not. Enjoyed each participant! The vibe is casual and fun! Did not make it out to the patio due to bad weather. Dog friendly on a leash, only saw two furry buddies! They were both so cute and cuddly I wanted to pet them so bad but I showed restraint. The ambience was eclectic and fun. The weather kept us from the patio so the bar was packed! Will make it a point to come back and check out the patio during better weather! If your looking for a fun bar this is it folks!

I always have the best time at Caves! They have incredible daily drink specials and their happy hour is kickass. It's M-F from 3-7 ad us $1.75 for domestic drafts and $1.75 for wells. They also make Sunday Funday amazing with $5 double martini's. On Fridays they are doing "Food Truck Friday" and on Sunday's you'll find someone typically grilling in the evenings. Since they are just a bar it's nice to have some food options available and Mr. Jims pizza will also deliver here. The bartenders here are all incredibly friendly and you will feel at-home here. Even the other patrons always seem to be eclectic and fun people. Caves also gets some local bands that will play from time to time. They bar itself has a grunge, punk rock vibe and they have a lot of strange and comical art on the walls. They have a jukebox that also has the best music options and they have a classic videogame like the ones in arcades and one pool table. But my favorite thing about caves is the patio. It is THE BEST PATIO. Period. Forever. It is triple the size of the inside and just gorgeous all around. I think their patio is definitely where most people are going now that you have to smoke outside with the new city rules. You can tell this place used to allow smoking inside, but I am sure over time it will dissipate.

This is a nice dive bar. Loved having dogs around. The bartender was very nice she even came outside and chatted with us for a little while. There was a lot of people there but it was Monday night.

It is a real dive. But the decor is FUN! Great prices. It does take a Masters degree to figure out the jukebox lol

Awesome place to hang, too bad they allow smoking inside, don't come here unless you want to smell like an ashtray.

One of my favorite places to go during my college years. They've updated their patio since and it looks great. Miss the kareoke nights!

I don't know if I can be friends with someone that doesn't like Pearl's. I'm a connoisseur of Texas…read moredive bars and this one is mine. Most days I spend my time in some of the finest restaurants in the Metroplex. Inner shitbag Jack has to get let out into his natural habitat sometimes. If you've ever had a desire to bend an elbow with me, I'm probably not turning down an invite to go drink at Pearl's. For the last fifteen years I have driven from Fort Worth to Dallas and back on 30. When the traffic backs up at Fielder, I exit, hang a left and a right on Division, and have a beer and a shot at Pearl's. It's the closest bar to my house (that doesn't feel like Deliverance) and Uber is $5 - that's happened. The older crowd of regulars (65+) really likes it when younger people come in. Marie is a riot. She invited me in for Christmas dinner when I told her I wasn't going to visit my family last year. I know I've aged since I started frequenting Pearl's but she hasn't. The name is weird: Marie's Pearl's Cherokee Lounge. Think of it as the dive bar version of Ruth's Chris. Marie's the owner of Pearl's, like Ruth Fertel buying Chris Steak House. Your reviewer has gotten extremely sloppy at Pearl's. It's easy to do, especially in the brutal summer. Very dark, good music, and a little cold, with a heavy hand on the bottle of choice. Shots come in 3 oz rocks glasses. The poor ladies behind the bar have heard me sing "Baba O'Riley" a little too loud a couple of times. Pearl's used to have the oldest bartender in Arlington, and she said she started working there when she was 18. I'd guess Slick is 85 at this point and I haven't seen her the last few times I've dropped in. Perhaps its a coincidence. I hope Slick's doing okay - she has some great stories and is the only octogenarian in history to cut me off. The motley crew of older folks at Pearl's is a riot. I've sat next to attorneys, truckers, teachers, bikers, shady characters, and a ton of retirees from every walk of life you can think of. Almost everyone is friendly as hell. Marie brings in free food from home on the weekends. I don't attend Pearl's much on Saturday and Sunday, but when I have, I enjoyed her cooking. For us degenerates that like to have a cigarette while they drink, this is our dive bar. Pearl's is an experience not to be missed. One day soon, we're going to have a very sterile service industry, and this is a throwback to when bars were fun. TLDR - I love this little slice of heaven, where my 40+ ass can get shlabombered cheap and everyone is cool, including the staff.

Used to be a regular, was a great spot. Bartenders are amazing and great prices…read more However, it's gotten weird lately. I saw the owner in there harassing his bar manager, pushing chairs around, and spitting tobacco on his own floor. They periodically go "cash only". Wonder why? I'm no Sherlock but it smells of skimming and money laundering. All of the old local regular musicians no longer will play there. Too bad, it's a piece of Arlington history.

So, buddy asks me if I want to go have a drink at this bar across from Bell Helicopter one night…read more I'm like, "are you kidding? No!" He says it's a nice place, about as divey as where we were at the time, and after he said he'd drive, I said "sure, why not" Get there, walk in, and he's right. It's not bad at all. It's old inside and the last remodel looks like it was back in the 70's, but I never really care about that stuff. It was a weekend night and there were quite a few people there. Bartenders were quick and friendly. No draft beer, but a pretty stocked full bar so no complaints. One thing I really ended up liking best about this place, was it's a mostly older crowd. Majority of people, I'd guess, 40's and up, maybe upper 30's in the least. I'm bad with ages. Everyone was friendly. Looks like a big regular crowd, seemed everyone knew each other. People doing Karaoke in the corner. Everyone was having a good time. Didn't see any people having drama or walk in misfits making trouble. Bit of a drive for me, but might make this more of a first stop on the weekend place. Drinks were reasonable.

Nice smaller club with pool tables, a stage & dance floor. They have reasonably priced drinks…read moreserved by some of the nicest folks around. The regular crowd is friendly. I usually stop in for Friday Night Karaoke. Great K J with large song collection who is very easy to work with. The sing list is not overly long so it's a good laid back evening.
