Okay, we all know how difficult it is to find a hairdresser we can trust, well search no further…read morepilgrims of the perfect hairstyle. I love this place! After one too many hair nightmares I came here on recommendation from a friend and I've never looked back. This is a hairdressing studio that truly cares and your hair really will be Fabulous when you leave! Run by Rachel, it's a great little find, hidden in the Static Gallery building, full of bright colours and personality; pink and green drapes (following the watermelon theme here) and bare brick walls give this gem of a studio little personal touches which make you feel at home instantly. It's really cheap for the service you get (I paid £25 for a full re-style) and so relaxed and fun that I can't imagine going anywhere else now. She knows what I want, is awesome at offering advice on styles that will suit me and does a fantastic job. With all the character and friendliness that you just won't find in a chain, if you're in search for a new personal hairdresser, this place is definitely a must.

Having always been passionate about my hair colour/shape and cut, and willing to spend whatever the High St popular hairdressers throw at me, I feel lucky and privileged to have found Rachel who gives me everything I want in a haircut experience at an affordable price. My regular visits to Watermelon Studio with the absolutely professionalism and creativity of Rachel means that I have never been happier with my hair. What I love about Rachel is her honesty and ability to listen to what the client wants and needs. I have many friends who now go to Watermelon Studio who are relieved to have finally met a hairdresser who listens to what the customer wants and they leave, as I do feeling fabulous! If you want a hairdressing experience that's unique, meets your needs in a relaxed, informal atmosphere you HAVE to visit. You will not be sorry!

The staff are very welcoming when you enter the building and do actually seem happy to help. I had my hair cut here once and the stylist and apprentice really went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and happy. When my hair was washed I was also given a head massage which was absolutely amazing. I was provided with a drink and a magazine whilst I was there. The stylist was excellent. She actually listened to what I wanted and took her time doing the cut, rather than giving the impression that she was rushing to get me done and out of there, as I have often felt in other salons. When my cut was expertly dried I was extremely happy with the result, it was exactly what I wanted and actually even better than the picture I had shown her. Toni & Guy is more expensive than many city centre salons but it is worth it for a treat. You do really feel that you are receiving the best service and the staff actually care about their customers.

As famous as it is, this branch in Whitechapel meets all their high standards with friendly, welcoming and confident staff to assist you. There is a very professional approach as you would imagine for a salon of this class. The only catch is that prices are expensive so you are gambling on a perfect service and hoping that you'll leave with a big smile on your face. I've not been here to use any of their services but by word of mouth, I have heard so many excellent remarks about this particular studio. Staff were extremely helpful when I made enquiries about their hair services, however my hair is so simple that I never need anything special doing. Perhaps I could do with some highlighting in the future! At least Toni & Guy is a place I could probably trust.

Easy access and parking makes a visit to one of the largest beauty spas in the city a hassle free, enjoyable experience. All therapists at the spa are qualified in all aspects of beauty treatments and participate in ongoing training and development to keep up to date with the latest technology in beauty and body treatments. An experienced team of creative hairdressers always advise you on styles to transform your look and leave you feeling good about yourself. The staff are extremely friendly to provide help and assistance when I made enquiries regarding their hair treatments. I was impressed by how informative the receptionist was, not to mention the reception area itself which is beautifully decorated. Whether you are looking for an edgy new style or just a simple trim, Portia certainly pulls it out the bag.

As i am male I was very nervious about asking for advice on this. I had heard that this place was good and professional, and i figured that they have seen it all, they do deal with bikini waxing on a daily basis after all. I called up and asked the receptionist if they do it,her reply was that she needed to check. I heard her go away and ask someone. The member of staff said "is it a man?" and when she receptionist said yes, the member of staff said, "eeee no" and i was immediatly hung up on. I dont feel that was professional in the slightest, if the answer was a no, that would be fine, but from the responses it was clear this treatment is provided for women but if a gay man asks then they are treated with the respect as some form of insect.

This branch of Supercuts is pretty old fashioned, and isnt as modern as other branches such as Manchester Arndale, Newcastle Eldon Square and Manchester ASDA Eastlands. The staff seemed nice enough, especially my barber but. don't feel I was given as much detail before-hand such as how long I would wait and how much I would pay. The service taken slightly longer than average which was frustrating. The barber did catch me slightly when doing the face shave part of my treatment which wasn't very pleasant. Due to some issues with the overall feel of the branch, and the fact at a peak time on a Friday afternoon they did not have any covers to stop the hair going down me, with any barber shop should never be out, whether a small store or part of a big chain with a big price like Supercuts, the location could also have been better with the store probably better off in a more central position such as Liverpool One, so sadly I feel this branch deserves just a one-star rating, after firstly considering a two-star rating.

Super Cuts is another establishment within St.Johns market so if you have read my previous reviews…read moreregarding this shopping centre then you can probably guess what the nature of this review will be. The problem with St.Johns as a whole is that everything feels poor quality and the customer service backs up this theme. Super Cuts has quite good value but the nature of its appearance and the attitude of the staff means that there are many other places I would recommend instead. I have a female friend who received a hair cut here and she informed me that the staff were not very attentive and she came away with something different to what she wanted. These kind of tales do not fill you with confidence and I would not suggest that you receive a hair cut from this establishment no matter how low the prices sink to.
