Ok, this isn't fine dining, but if you want good bar food, a beautiful view, and pleasant service, come to Cav's. Meghan, Chris, Belle, Dan... the staff are good at their job and always kind. Always happy to come down to Cav's.

Beautiful cove at Priest Lake, ID. This place has plenty of space for a big family to have an outdoor lunch gathering. We spread my grandpa's ashes in the lake and we were welcomed with a beautiful setting outdoors! I will definitely come back here to visit again! Wonderful food

We love Cavs!! The food is always good and the view of the lake can't be beat. It's also fun to watch the planes land while enjoying a huckleberry drink! This is one of our favorite stops in the summer and winter!

Our family had a little winter getaway in the lake front cabin, we couldn't be happier with our stay. Views of the lake are spectacular. House is equipped with everything you need for your stay. Plenty of board games for kids for game night. Plenty of space to run around and rest. Drew always checked in on us asking if we needed anything extra. Sean at the restaurant was so pleasant and took great care of us. I can't wait to be back here during the summer. Would recommend to anyone for a 5 star getaway. Luxury to the fullest.

2nd time going here for my boyfriend's family annual trip. Last year one of the girls got the Priest Lake Pasta which I tried, so I had to get it for myself this time around. Very big serving and delicious! The leftovers tasted good as well which is always a plus. To drink I had the Huckleberry Daiquiri and we also ordered a side of fries. Last year I got the Sushi Bowl which was pretty good from what I remember.

Went up Saturday night from CDA for Oktoberfest. Roads were plowed and clear of snow! Atmosphere was great with authentic Schuhplattler music and even Nagelbalken (hitting nails into what looked like freshly cut tree trunks after you drink). The menu was also fantastic with the pretzel, wurst, and beef dishes all really well made. I would rate this as one of the better Oktoberfests in the panhandle and they were gracious with us even after we destroyed one of their beer steins. Plus you just can't beat a location where light pollution is low enough for you to see every star in the night sky. Prost!

Amazing food and drinks! Try the Keen burger and lemon meringue. Incredible view! Five stars all the way

Calamari!! Who knew it could be so good in northern Idaho!

We had the Calamari for an appetizer!! Wowzer!! That was some of the best food I have eaten in northern Idaho! So yummy!

The buffalo burger and pig pen burger was so good and juicy. The staff was so welcoming and sweet. We will definitely be back.

The wait staff was friendly and the location is nice. But the food is absolutely terrible. Not a single dish in our group of 7 was any good.

We arrived on Friday, went to check in....And they told us "we'll we cancelled you". What? You have to be kidding, right? we are two hours from home, no where to stay and no options of finding something else. I was participating in a 10k that weekend. They did not apologize, give us an explanation, or offer any help whatsoever. They actually acted like it was our fault. They said we were a "no show" as we are standing in front of Kristi, the front desk clerk (yes, I got her name). This was 4pm, check in time. She was also the person we spoke with to confirm our reservation. The only thing I can come up with is someone offered a higher price for a sold out hotel and we happened to be the people they decided to screw over.

How about conveniently located, clean, cheaper by far than any other lodging in the area, and plenty of parking space. Jeez really what more do you expect for that kind of cash! Oh, by the way, the best family restaurant (Ardy's) in the area is just across the road. My wife and I will definitely be back, and will be recommending this motel to everyone we know who would rather spend their money wisely instead of on useless frippery.

We asked about seating in the bar and we were told they weren't seating customers in the dining room. I'm very hard of hearing so I usually avoid loud places like the plague but at the time the bar was pretty quiet. We were seated far from the windows which was really the reason we always travel the ~140 mile round trip over from Hope, ID for to see the tamarack's in the fall golden colors. We ordered and there had been a large group seated and they re-arranged the tables to accommodate them beside us. They were very loud, so much so that my wife and I seated beside each other couldn't hear anything. Our appetizer came and the mains were delivered ~1 minute later. We now had a choice eat the appetizer and let the mains go cold or eat the appetizer. I really wanted to just ask the waitress to box up our food so we could get the hell out of there but we shut up ate the cold food, paid the tab and on the way out found guests seated in the nice quiet main dining room. My family vacationed together at Priest from 1957 to 1968 every year without fail and we were in and around Hill's regularly over those years and ever since. Often we go over and stay a weekend or just drop in for a meal. The prices have steadily gone up and IMO the facilities, food and service have been steadily going down. Today, forever iced the cake we won't be gong back, sad.

Just by the look her on face. She wasn't friendly and we actually felt like we were putting her out. We arrived about An hr after they opened. There was only 3 table there before the three of us arrived. It was not crowded at all. We have family who live around this area and this is a favorite place of hers. She messed up on her order and argued with major attitude and blamed it on our family member. Didn't even try to correct the issue or apologize. Not even I'm sorry if I heard it differently how can I correct this. Her attitude was eat it since that is how I heard the order. The other people at the table heard the order correctly. It upset our family member and put a damper on our meal . It was embarrassing she was being spoken to by the server. When all she said is this wasn't what I ordered. The server never came by to see if everything was okay once she brought out the food My husband had to go find her to ask for his toast. Never apologized and seemed like she just didn't want to be there. There were other servers there, so they weren't under staffed. The only time she smiled and was polite was when she brought us our bill. If I ever go back and see her I would ask for another server! I don't write reviews like this but this was sooo totally unacceptable!! Sad but the one star is all due to her, the food was a 3 star. I would give zero stars if I could!
