Absolutely amazing! I downloaded yelp and made an account just to write a review. I live a couple hours north, up in Virginia but I was down in Winston-Salem and got recommended CAVA, and I love new restaurant recommendations so I had to try it. Tara made my order today and she was great! I told her I had never ate here before and to make me her favorite thing, it was absolutely delicious. It had some rice, lettuce, steak, those little crunchy things and some different vegetables. She even covered the cost of my food since it was my first time trying their restaurant. The staff is absolutely amazing and the restaurant has a nice vibe to it, I'll definitely be recommending it to everyone! And again, shout out to Tara, you're great!:) read more

The staff and food were absolutely amazing. My mom and I came in for dinner tonight, and had a great experience. They were very patient and professional, while we were ordering our meal. Unfortunately, we did not receive the chips that came with the meals. They were preparing them fresh, but somehow did not make it into our bag. The grape jelly on the table molded, and I made sure to open at least 3 of them to see if I could find a better one. I did not find a better one. I honestly don't think they cared about the preparation of the food. The butter wasn't even spreaded on the toast and it was slathered like my picture on all sides and pieces. I won't be back. I tried to push forward but then I asked for a cup of Pepsi to go, the lid didn't fit and I was told that all of the lids were deformed like that, sooo, yeah, that sealed the deal.

The place was bustling and full of patrons enjoying their delicious food. The atmosphere is very homie and southern. The food is definitely the star of the show here! I ordered the fried white fish and they give you such large portions! I also got cabbage and coleslaw. I splurged and ordered some smashed sweet potatoes on the side. All of the food was fresh flavorful, and seasoned to perfection! The coleslaw was very good and not full of mayonnaise as some are. It was just fresh chopped cabbage with just the right amount of mayo. The fried white fish was very flavorful, meaty and fresh! The cabbage was well seasoned with black pepper and other spices. The smashed sweet potatoes were also very spicy with cinnamon, nutmeg, and all spice and a very good texture and flavor. our server was sweet, kind, and very attentive! The prices are also excellent! I will definitely be coming back to Zoe's on old Walkertown Road and recommend you come and give it a try if you haven't already! I promise you won't be disappointed!
