I filled out the contact form on the website, sent a text message, and even went to the address and left a note, but I never received any response. At this point, I honestly wasn't sure if the business was still operating. A simple reply--even to say there were no appointments available--would have been appreciated. Good communication is just as important as good grooming service. I hope this was just an unusual situation and that future customers have a better experience.

Update November 2019…read more Alison has seen Gus once more since this review and we have also taken Sophie and Jacques to see her. Sophie had been to the groomer once before for a bum trim as like Jacques she is a LaPerm and has crazy fur. I booked Sophie for the Glamour Kitty for 27SEP2019. I told Alison that Sophie is pretty chill. Ummmm I'm wrong. She attacked Allison during the bath part and was put into a cone of shame for the remainder of her visit. I was horrified when Allison relayed the news when she called me to picked her up. I was even more shocked by the wound this TINY kitty inflicted. I expected Allison to tell me Sophie was banned but nope she told me Sophie is welcome back any time. Sophie is like 7 lbs and when she attacks me (b/c I'm like a kid a never stop bugging thr cats) it feels like baby kitten bites I seriously didn't think her mouth could open that far or have that much force. Allison is a saint to welcome that lil gremlin back. Also this was the 1st time Allison saw her and she said she felt a lil thin so I booked an appointment with out vet and runs out since July she lost .5 kg so now she is on a high cal/fat food to help fatten her up. Vet thinks she plays too muc . If it wasn't for Allison I probably wouldn't have noticed b/c 1) She is crazy furry 2) She doesn't sit still long enough for me to brush her 3) it was 4 months already and I hadn't noticed her weight loss. Fast forward to 12NOV2019 I took Jacques in for a Glamour package. Jacques has had lion cuts but never a bath and brush and blow out. We started getting him lion cuts in 2018 b/c he would have coughing fits and we thought it was hairballs turns out it was asthma. Anyway when I dropped Jacques off my last words were "no bities!". All his lion cuts were smooth and painless he purred the whole time in each visit, Allison was probably thinking LIAR. I held my breathe all afternoon wait for a call to tell me Jacques turned into a rabid beast and that I was never welcome back. 2 hours passed no call. 2.5 hours I'm think she is keeping my cat or he went for her jugular and she can't call for help. 3 hours the call comes. I'm told her was great. He had a tiny lil accident after his bath which resulted in him getting an 2nd rinse to get his pee out of his coat. Phew! When I got to the door there Jacques was in his carrier purring away, wondering why he couldn't play with the resident cats. I could tell he was sleeker but wow. When we got home it was extreme makeover kitty edition! He hasn't been this sleek since about the age of 6 months when he lost his baby fur and his adult coat came in. You can see his legs as he walks by. When I play with the ruff around his neck I can't turn him into a Lorax. And did I mention he is soft like a cloud?????? A week before his visit 2 furnace techs were here and marveled at his majestic fur and mentioned how he was super soft. I didn't think it was possible for him to be softer. Oh man was I wrong! I keep petting him just to feel the softness. Like picture those Royale kitten and how soft imagine them to be now times that by 10 and you have Jacques! If I win the lottery the 3 long hairs will have MONTHLY standing appointments but for now I must settle on quarterly visits for each. Previous Review: I was searching for a new cat groomer for our five felines when Pretty Kitty came up in the search. We have a almost 10 year old Maine Coon who is close to 25 lbs and due to his size and age it is getting harder for him to keep his back and bum clean. Gus came home looking AWESOME! His fur is stupid soft and he looks 5 years younger! Usually when he has come home from a groomer he spend the next few hours grooming himself but not this time. He took a nap! We will for sure be taking Gus back and probably on a very regular basis as this truly was the best he ever looked after grooming session.

Desk worker assured me scissors would be used. I booked an appointment, showed up and reminded the groomer he's never used a clipper, and I didn't know how he would react, and if it is not good he is used to scissors so that would be fine. She assured me that was fine. I come to pick up my dog and the groomer says he acted poorly to the clippers (surprise) and she had to get her assistant to hold him down to finish. My dog looked terrified with his tail between his legs. I had double checked and was assured by the groomer proper care would be taken, and they obviously had no idea what they were doing. Even threatened that if I came in again it would be an extra 10$ for the second person. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

My groomer was Zoey, she was so friendly and my dog Lychee instantly loved her. We had a nail, bath and grooming done, the results are so good that I'm probably going to come back for more. My dog feels extra soft, his nails are so much better and he is so happy. I also met the owner Scott and he was very helpful and gave really good information about when I should bring my furbaby back. It's recommended nail trim per month, also for grooming it really depends on the breed, most dogs average around 4-5months for grooming. With certain breeds like my American Eskimo that has a double layer of coat, it's best to come during the Spring and Winter when they shed the most. I also got a tour of the facility, very great that they have separate washing stations for each pup as well as groomong stations. Each groomer once booked with your pup will be schedule with the same groomer each time so that your pup builds the relationship and feels comfortable. Average grooming time took about 2 hours. I'm so happy with the results I'm definitely coming back for sure! Make sure you check this place out for coupons, because a deal is a deal especially with such great service it's worth coming back.

Last year I picked up a super sized mug that says Dog Dad - c'mon, how many Dog Dad things have you EVER seen?! They have some unique gifts and the mug turned out to be PERFECT for his microwave noodle soups. Yesterday I noticed that self-serve dog wash is now by appointment only. Sensible so they can control the people and cleaning needed. I also picked up an absolutely gorgeously decorated doggie Hanukkah/Chanuka cookie for a friend's pup! Paws up! We like this shop.

I went into the room, we relaxed. The room was clean, the whole place was very clean. The staff were super courteous, asked a few times if my rabbit needed some treats. My rabbit was able to relax, the vet was super gentle, the other vet that gave him his shot was also very gentle. These guys are awesome, and honest. They did double charge me, called me on my cell phone to refund the money. I'll definitely be back, how can I go elsewhere? There isn't anybody better. I called a few places, and "they saw rabbits" but didn't have rabbit savvy. I see my own rabbit, I don't need anybody to "see my rabbit" unless you're trained to be rabbit savvy. They weighed her, took her temperature and checked her ears (where they found pus and decided it was an ear infection). I have been taking our Beagle Paws Rescue foster dogs here for the last 5 months. We started…read morefostering two beagles that were surrendered to the Edmonton Humane Society. They came to us with extreme separation anxiety so leaving them at home every day alone was very difficult. Having them occupied and exercised during the day helps a lot with these two. If you have an anxiety dog daycare can be a saviour. I don't pay to have the beagles there everyday as the Rescue covers any costs for the dogs. However I do buy supplies for the dogs here. Most of it I don't ask to be reimbursed for by the rescue as I consider it my donation to the cause. The owner Bernard is great and you can tell he cares about the animals and clients. He always has a great selection of food, treats, toys, and other supplies. I found a few great things here like a bow tie and flower for the dogs collars (a local artist to boot). They get to wear those on days they come to work with me. The staff there are great too. You can tell the dogs have a lot of fun with the staff. They are located conveniently on 99 street just south of Argyll road. It always great when there are multiple pick ups going on. You get to meet some nice dogs and their owners. Everyone is so excited at pick up time! They have some indoor and outdoor space for the dogs to play in. They also group the dogs into different groups so it isn't one big free for all. They learn which dogs play well with each other and are friends and group them that way. I highly recommend K9 Club!

Without ever having met us, Jen stepped in and made short notice accommodations to go get our dogs keep them overnight, and make sure they got on their new flights at the crack of dawn. It was so far above and beyond the call of duty. Jen was fantastic to communicate with and the staff sent us pictures and a report card to assure us the pups were doing great there.
