Cat's Eye is my favorite spot, full stop. Great cocktails, eclectic and comfortable! They are great supporters of the local art and music scene as well. I can't recommend this place enough!

Visiting my partner's hometown and it was our first time checking out this bar. We wanted to grab a nice old fashion, and this is the place just for that. The bartender is a true mixologist who knows how to mix them! They also had a lovely band playing live music. Love some good vocals and acoustic guitar going. It's a small place, but the vibes are just right. Really cool local art on the walls as well. If we ever come back, we will be sure to check this spot out again.

If there's a better cocktail bar in Central Illinois, I implore you to contact me so I can visit. This spot is a hidden gem; while passing thru town I desired an adult beverage but had no idea where to go. While eating lunch at a nearby brewery (Tangled Roots - it's also really good) the server suggested Cat's Eye The drink options, esthetic, vibe and service was all excellent. Resembles a speakeasy with better lighting; and did I mention the service was great?! Started off with a bourbon flight (I dug 2 out of the 3), then went with the vanilla whiskey sour (which was the highlight of the day.) I can't say I'll be in this area again any time soon. But if I'm within a 50mi radius I'll come back. Highly recommend!

Had wonderful cocktails in addition to a wine flight. Met great people. Will definitely stop here again when we come through town.

Shea was our waitress and did a great job. We started with the soft shell crab appetizer which was a bit underwhelming. It was tempura battered but it contained just two pieces of crab, two onions and two pieces of broccoli. I would not get this again as I thought there would be more crab. The tuna tataki appetizer made up for it. The pieces are generous, covered in sesame seeds and melted in your mouth. The dipping sauce was a great addition. We also shared an MJ roll which was wrapped in soy paper and had tempura shrimp, yellowtail, jalapeño and cucumber. It was quite good. We also had a dragon roll which my husband really enjoyed. It had shrimp tempura, BBQ eel, avocado, cucumber and eel sauce. My aunt ordered avocado salad and added chicken. It had generous pieces of cut chicken on top and was a nice looking salad. My husband also enjoyed the gyoza which were six large potstickers filled with chicken. They serve wine and beer, plus have a small selection of sake. They were sold out of all sake except Gekkeikan sake, which we tried cold. The waitress made a little mistake at the end with the bill and credit card payments, which she credited and redid. We paid cash for one meal and card for the rest but the cash item was accidentally added to the total bill and credit card. It was corrected and all was fine. We loved the food and atmosphere and would definitely come back.

We decided to drop in since it had just opened, and we wanted to see what they had to offer. If you look at the name "pizzeria napoletana" you may get the idea that this isn't Pizza Hut. It isn't. This is (according to my wife who has been to Naples in Italy) pizza the Napoletanese way. Thin crusts, interesting toppings, and different than mainstream American pizza. When we arrived we were promptly greeted at the door as we walked in, and given a choice of bar or dining room seating. We selected the dining room. Both areas were warm and comfortable, with the usual things in the bar (big screen TV) and dining room (art on the walls, nice tables and chairs, nice booths). We started with the Bagna Cauda, which was delicious. It seemed to be a little light on the garlic compared to my friend's version of the dish, but it was still good. It was served with bread, fennel, pepper and zucchini for dipping. It could have fed 4. For pizzas, my wife ordered their Margherita Verace, and I ordered their Puttanesca pizza. The Puttanesca had green olives, brown olives and white anchovies. The crust was very thin - so thin that I ended up cutting this with my knife and using my fork. I couldn't even fold it - the crust is very soft. I tried my wife's Margherita Verace, and it was similar in crust. It had lots of good stuff on it, and tasted good. Drinks were reasonably sized. I had a glass of wine which was fresh, and my wife after trying to order (and pronounce) Raganrok found that they were out of the sweet mead, so she went with a Negroni instead, which she said was quite good. The bathrooms were clean, but chilly in temperature. I hit the hot air hand dryer as I walked out in an effort to warm up the space. Clean, all fixtures worked, and well kept. The question boils down to this: Are you willing to experience pizza the way it was originally made - or not. If you are willing, you should try this place out. If you aren't willing - well, that's on YOU to change. You're missing a lot.

Mine was cooked perfect since I told them to add more basil garlic and more sauce The drinks are great. The ambiance is very modern I wish they would had played Italian music to make it authentic. There are so many waiters all very young and they need to be more mindful to come to our table to make sure we are ok we wanted to order more food but our server was ghosting us. We saw many servers eating in the back many pizzas were burnt
