The food was AMAZING. I got a Suicide Sub with garlic parm fries. The sandwich was cheesy, beefy and the bread was perfectly toasted. The fries had the best garlic parm flavor of any other restaurant I've been to. Brittney was the server & she was very nice. The place is very clean, there's indoor & outdoor seating. This is a great place for wings, burgers, or my favorite all you can eat tacos. Local tavern that has plenty of seating for busy nights. The place was just re-done, but it still has the neighborhood feel. It's just barcfood, but good and reasonably priced. Waitress always remembers us and comes by often even when busy. read more

Went here on a Saturday night - great as a biker bar I am sure and decent food but nothing to rave about. Pretty loud and boisterous. We were in a goofy spot near the bar but was served by table waitstaff that probably couldn't see us very well so some things took longer than expected. Service people were very nice and food came out quickly despite a pretty good crowd. Burger was good but pretty standard fare. Fries were likely just frozen and fried up. Meets your needs for a meal but with the noise level and menu, don't expect anything special. read more

Stopped in for lunch for the yummy fried chicken sandwich, and tried the gyro. Took my Dr. Pepper back up to the bartender as I was very watery, asked to just try a Coke instead and Brittany told me that if it taste flat it's all flat because it's on the same CO2 system, so I just grabbed a water. She brought our food out and we got a chicken wrap instead of a chicken sandwich, and she said next time, make sure you specify what you want because we just assume you want a wrap.. I slid my gyro away from me because I didn't want to eat before my husbands sandwich came back out, and she asked me if there was something wrong with it, and I just explained to her that I would rather eat together, and I asked her if she could just keep it warm and Brittany said no, we do not have a warmer. From what I understand of the sign that's near the door is that they are a bar that serves food not a restaurant that serves drinks yet all of their reviews tend to be focused on their food. I enjoy Jakes! The bartenders are fun and know their business. Friday nights the place is packed with people stopping in after work and getting chicken to go. The only thing good about this place is having the space to socialize with friends as long as it is not the weekend and then it is packed way too much. The bartenders here don't make the drinks strong enough unless you are a regular or know them and they are too lazy to give you a real glass so they give you a plastic cup most of the time because it is way too hard to wash a glass! I would just rather walk down the street to 9th St. Pub over this place because I can get a stronger drink there and better music too. The drink deals here during the week are good but I have to say that I don't like the crowd that hangs out here and I don't like the music they play either. read more

This is the second time my fiancé and I have ordered in the past month and while the food tasted ok, was not worth the money. For the 2nd time it was cold(fries were thrown out for the 2nd time, everything else had to be reheated), and this was after I mentioned the order taker we had this experience the first time.
