Even open on Sunday for those who are inundated during the week and can't get out except for a weekend. When I first stepped out of my car and began to walk around, it was dizzying. I felt like a kid in a candy store. So many tree varieties to choose from and I couldn't even begin to guess how many acres this place is. There are staff all over going about tending to the plants/trees but if you need help, they will go out of their way to help you. I was assisted by Adam who was extremely friendly and helpful. I simply had a question about a tree but Adam took me around in a cart giving me a tour since it was my first time here. In the end, I did end up buying a tree which they were happy to hold onto until I am ready to bring to my house. All of the staff are very friendly and Adam was especially helpful. They had trees I have been searching for online and some I thought I would have to buy from tree farms and have shipped here. And not only trees, but they have so much for bushes and shrubs and regular plants to decorate your landscaping if that is what you are looking for. Something else I really appreciated was there was no pressure. At other places, I have experienced high pressure sales, but here, they are very knowledgeable and just want to help. If you are looking to add something to your backyard or landscaping, you won't find a better nursery.

We talked to many landscaping designers; most suggested grass with stronger roots. Amy advised a clever and beautiful design to address the drainage problems. The idea is to put in a dry river bed along the waterway, so rather than fight against nature, we go along with it. She planted various flowers along the river bed. This solves the problem and also adds beauty to the yard. The materials she selected are beautiful and high quality. They compliment the house. Amy's team is hard-working and very efficient. Removing the weed, laying out the dry river bed, and installing the grass only took them three days to complete. I highly recommend Amy and her crew for any landscaping projects.

Richard, owner of Streamlined Environmental Services, came out to walk the property with me, understand what I needed, and answer any questions. The other contractor sent out a (junior) technician. He certainly seemed qualified but often responded to my questions with "I'll have to check with my boss". Another minor concern was that I needed some electrical work done for the new pump and control board. Richard included that with his proposal where the other company advised I would have to contract with an electrician for that piece. Streamlined installed a top-notch system, we're on-time, professional, completed the job as promised, and cleaned up everything. I was impressed with how little my yard was torn up upon conclusion of the job.

The foreman, Stephan, reviewed the scope of the job with us and he and his crew got to work immediately, cutting up a large elm that had fallen by our house and several other large trees that had been damaged in a storm. They were ALL extremely courteous and respectful, not to mention hard-working. They used safe working practices and were professional in all aspects of the job. Willing to answer any questions and provide recommendations on the various things i was wanting to do. He even went to another nursery to get the exact plant i needed when it wasn't available at the wholesaler. Great job overall and I'll probably contact him again for another area of the yard.

About 5 months ago I had tried to get an estimate for my fence as it started to sag, but the fencing companies would either, not come out and look at it, would come out but never sent me a quote or just never answered my calls or emails. So now it is March 2016, and after a strong wind storm, the one side of my fence blew down. Sent a search through Thumbtack and Ramos was one of the ones to answer. Let me list why he was such a great choice for doing my fence: 1. I made an appointment for him to come to home at noon to get an estimate. I work 25 minutes from home so I gave myself 45 minutes to drive home to meet him. Well wouldn't you know they closed all the lanes of north bound I-35 for a funeral!!! So I was 40 minutes late driving to my house. And guess what...He waited for me to get there!!! 2. He looked and measured...and gave me an estimate on the spot. This was a solid quote...there was to be no changes to this at any time. He was hundreds of dollars cheaper that the cheapest estimate I had received months before and at this time. 3. He showed up the day and time he promised and got the fence up in one day. He did come back the next day to install the rest of the screws and to do my gate (This is a big deal because my neighbors have a dog that hates me, so I was glad to have the fence up in one day). 4. I asked to have the gate opener to be installed only visible from the back yard. (Two other fence people argued with me about this, said they know better or I won't like etc.). No arguments, said he would do it for me. I figured I would always have to go outside the backyard door to open the gate, but Ramos installed it in such a way, I can reach over the gate to open it from the front yard and no one else would even know the latch is there. I feel so much safer at night alone because of this! (I bought the latch myself ) 5. I had bought a money order to pay for both the right side of the fence and was having him do the left side also. He asked if he could come back to do the left side in a few days because the previous week's rain had put him behind on another job. The money order was for the whole job so I gave it to him that day 6. Sure enough, Ramos again came back on the day he promised and finished the left side of the fence. 7. Very nice and friendly and above all trustworthy. Let's you know when he's coming and what he will be doing! Highly recommend! Great experience and now I have a great looking fences and a new gate! He came when scheduled, and finished the job quickly. His price for the work was fair. Ramos Services was able to do this job, despite not having worked with railroad tie retaining walls before. We would recommend Ramos Services without reservation. I should also note that Ramos Services also does fence repair and installation, as well as small stone and concrete work. Thats why I found out about this issue with this company because they failed to connect my 220 v power correctly. They did not install the common wire on a 220 v which is very dangerous and does not perform adequately. i hired an electrician to look at this issue is when we noticed the miss fit thrown together pump that had been painted to look new. I have pictures and contacted the owner and he has not attempted to fix any of the concerns and problems. very bad company. Stay far away. I will see them in court. Steve Sellers
