A wonderful group of people helping people and cat and kittens. They are an elite rescue and thankful to have them in the community.

OFOSA is an AMAZING organization to adopt through. They match families based on personality (what…read morethe family is,) and match it to their potential kitty. (It is likely the same for dogs, I don't know.) We first heard of OFOSA through Instagram and followed our Oscar (formerly Drizzle, of the "Sky Kitten" litter,) from his small beginnings as one of 8 and his mama. His foster mom clearly loves each kitty, kitten and older kitty, as her own from the minute she receives them. I was a foster before I had kids, and it's a hard and thankless job from most adopters. They have no idea the love and emotion that goes into raising a healthy kitty only to see them go home and never see them again. We originally wanted the female calico, Sunny, in the litter. My daughter, who is 8 1/2 lost her "soul mate kitty" in February of 2019 and asked for a kitten, so we thought about it and the timing of this litter worked perfectly with our plan to allow her to pick a kitten. When it came to choice time, we did a blind family vote. We wrote down numbers and read the character traits out. Sunny placed last for us all. She wasn't who we should adopt. But when we tallied it up, Drizzle was our CLEAR first place. Cuddly AND playful was what we were looking for and that's exactly what we got. We adopted him almost a month ago, on 12/11/21 and he very quickly won our hearts. He's 16 weeks now and he's a frisky and mischievous little kitten with loads of energy and spunk. He is an absolute love as well. One day when it's time for another kitty, we will absolutely be doing this same process again. He couldn't be a better fit with us. Thank you SO much OFOSA. We LOVE Drizzle now Oscar Roy Drizzle or as I like to call him Oscar Roy "the Driz" Kent (after Roy Kent from Ted Lasso.) We are eternally grateful for his care prior to being our forever kitty by his wonderful foster mom Angela.

We called OFOSA asking about an appointment and left a message. Within 20 minutes my friend received a text about an appointment for the next day and we were immediately set up. Today we went to the appointment and met the kitty and adopted her. The girl who assisted us who worked / volunteered for OFOSA was super kind, helpful, and informative! Overall, really great experience and the girl who helped us made it even better.

It's a very convenient location for me and pick ups/drop offs are so fast and easy! My only star deduction is because my dogs always come home with a horrible stench compared to other daycares they've gone to... :( so they need constant bathing now which is a bit of a hassle. Not sure what the heck they do to smell so bad, but I guess they come home happy and tired end of day so I'll continue to put up with it :)

She is always excited to get out into the yard and play and when I bring her home she is pooped from a full day. Pricing is reasonable and the amenities are great. I can tell that all the workers love dogs and I don't hesitate to leave her there. I know she's in great hands. It's convenient because there is an on-site groomer as well, so I have my girl brushed out once a month. She's a Klee Kai and sheds like nobody's business. It's great being able to check in during the day on the cameras and check on my dog. I also like that there are scheduled rest times so the dogs don't get overstimulated. That's when fights happen. I have referred many people here and will continue to do so. If you're looking for a friendly place with reasonable prices that take good care of your babies, look no further than A Dog Gone Good Place!

Heather made the process as painless as possible, and we would highly recommend anyone seeking pet ownership to check out Indigo Rescue. Heather also provided us with great information, and we can tell she really took care of him as a foster. We can't express how thankful and happy we are with Corky - he is our little sunshine we are thrilled to wake up to. Thank you, Heather (and Indigo Rescue)!!!

I gotta say it's very disheartening to read all of the negative review on here. We adopted an…read moreamazing dog from Indigo a month ago and everything has been wonderful. I'll agree the forms are a little lengthy but I understand why. They want to make sure that every dog goes to the perfect home. We got a reply with in a few days and had a meet and greet the next week. Originally we were looking at a different dog from the litter but after talking with Heather she told us about another pup who would fit our family better and she was right! He's perfect for us! I felt that Heather the owner did ask a lot of questions but this was good! She also gave us a lot of advise. On the day of the meet and greet we got to meet the foster mom who is a wonderful human! I felt this was a great thing to do, who knows the dog better then the foster? I have two young children who came with and fell in love almost immediately! They encouraged us to bring our 3 year old pup with us too! They wanted to make sure this adoption was a great fit for EVERYONE. We placed our application and were approved within a few days. Over all working with Indigo was an amazing experience and I would do it all over again. They were very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions promptly. The foster even provided us with a puppy pack of all of his favorite toys and treats. On the day of adoption both Heather and the foster came to our home to help with the transition. They stayed for about 30-45 minutes while my 3 year old and the new puppy played and got adjusted to one another. I was very impressed by this! They cared about him so much to drive out to our house and help him get settled in! I am still in contact with both the rescue and the foster as they are interested in seeing him grow up and hearing how he is doing. I know they have the dogs at heart here! The foster mom even cried when she was leaving him at our home the day of adoption. They truly love and care for these dogs! For anyone who is reading reviews and trying to decided if they should work with indigo I want to encourage you to reach out and see what you think. Most of the time people who are satisfied don't leave review so don't believe all of the negative ones. We are so blessed to have found indigo and will adopt from them again in the future!! Thank you Indigo!

I have never left a review in the years of being on yelp, but I am today to seriously help others…read more I visited a couple weeks ago by myself with my cat. I am a young woman, and the Dr made sure to emphasize my age and made it feel degrading and like I was an unfit cat parent because of being young (He has no clue I am a registered nurse). My cat is very friendly, but he makes me hold her down with all of my might so he can shave her in which she freaks out and scratches me. He doesn't let this go and continues to bring up her "bad behavior" throughout the visit. I would've freaked out too if I was her, and why was I the one holding her down when I'm paying over $100 just for the exam fee? Lastly, I assume this is because of the doctors age, but he came into the exam room three different times to lecture me or share different POVs on politics, morals, etc., stuff that had nothing to do at all with my cat or me. I of course don't mind small banter, but this was just over the top and turned my 30 minute appt into an hour after the fact my cat is in distress and I want to take her home asap. I do believe the course of treatment that was prescribed was right, but not the way myself or my cat was treated. I was judged for looking young and that allowed him to decide how I take care of my cat? I am well educated with a bachelors degree being a RN and could very well end up taking care of him in the hospital.
