We have been using Cat's Cradle for over 20 years with three different generations of cats. Never have we felt like the service has been poor. If anything the service has always been better than expected. Lawana goes the extra mile to ensue your return is managed so that there is no interruption in your pets care. She even asks for updates when you land so that she can come in again if your trip is unduly delayed. It's a real pleasure to come home after a trip and find clean dishes beside the sink. The garbage taken out and the cats very much alive and happy. As technology has been more accessible Lawana has added daily check ins of the cats via email and also leaves a little diary of how the cats behaved while we were away. She does little things around the house to make it look lived in such as adjusting blinds and lights and will take out the trash on garbage day if requested. For all of this her rates are very reasonable and never ever have we had any cause for compliant. As for the litter box. It's always been well cleaned and never had any issues with the cats trying to avoid or have behavioural issues after she's visited. This service is great ad it gives you peace of mind and confidence that not only are the cats being well taken care of, but that someone is coming into your home and checking on it as well. Hundreds of satisfied customers can't be wrong. She wouldn't be booked up constantly over the vacation seasons if people weren't happy. It's unfortunate that it's so easy for some people to be able to post reviews that are less than honest or by those in direct competition. Ignore those losers and haters! I highly recommend Cats Cradle for your pets next staycation! read more

We have a been using Cat's Cradle Critter Sitter since 2006. I believe this would probably amount to AT LEAST several hundred visits... perhaps over a thousand? Lawana and her team have collectively looked after two of our Newfoundland dogs (huge dogs) and six cats. Two of our cats have had diabetes and required twice-daily insulin injections. Our Newfoundland dogs are strong and cannot be walked by the inexperienced. One of the dogs spent a year with only three legs. Both had frequent eye infections and required drops. Lawana took this all in stride. She was better for our animals than we were! She is tidy. On occasion when we were out and our dog (or cat) had an accident, she completely cleaned it up for us. I will NEVER use a different service. She is wonderful, warm, caring and knowledgeable. Negative reviews on this site are completely made up and should be ignored (if not removed)! read more

We used Lawana's service regularly a number of years ago then didn't need a petsitter until recently. The Cats Cradle service was totally reliable and professional back then and in the meantime has only added to the service. The important thing is that Lawana and her team care about your animals and give them great care. They respect your home and leave it as they find it. They now use a great app that makes communication between the pet owners and all the people providing care during your absence easy and ensures all have necessary information. They send photos, comments and report cards after each visit which is reassuring and great to see. I can't imagine a better petsitting service. read more

Prior to the pandemic we were very frequent travelers and now starting to resume our family vacations. Lawana at Cat's Cradle Critter Sitter has made all of our trips possible for the past 7 years. We have two cats who simply adore her! She is reliable, even in bad weather she will make it. She checks in with us daily to give us peace of mind that all is well at home. If your cat is senior, or requires medication she is highly qualified as a certified Veterinary Technician. I can't imagine leaving our cats at a kennel for several weeks, but with Lawana's service, we've been able to travel knowing that they are happy and well at home. I highly recommend! read more

Lawana from cats Cradle Critter sitter in THE BEST! She has been my go to cat sitter for 10 years. She is so trustworthy and takes the stress away leaving your fur babies behind while you are on vacation or working away from home. Our cats love Lawana and look forward to her visits which include clipping their nails, brushing them and giving them lots of love and snuggles... There was an instance where I had to go out of town for work and my cat had a medical emergency. She took him to the vet and nursed him back to health while I was away. I couldn't thank her enough for that. SHe is AMAZING and would not choose anyone else for cat sitting. read more

We have used Lawana at Cat's Cradle for taking care of our three cats since 2008. At least once a year for a major holiday, except during 2020 when the pandemic basically shut down holidays and the need for sitters. We were relieved that Cats Cradle survived that diffiult time and could kitty sit for us again in 2021. Lawana has always provided top level service. She's sends us emails and pictures to ensure she gets in the house okay, and provides daily updates on interactions with our cats. Her business is professional and well run and I've recommended her to other pet owners in the area and will continue to do so. read more
