I have been connected with CCS for more than 20 years, first as a volunteer, then as a board member and most recently on staff. Though the organization has had many growing pains through the years, what makes me proud to be connected with CCS is that everyone I encounter there is truly acting out of good will and trying to live up to the values of Love, Justice, Truth and Freedom. My observation has been that CCS is in a constant state of change, and that change always comes from a drive to improve services, transform systems of care when needed, and to be better partners in helping those served to define and reach their goals. No place is perfect, but as a community service organization, I would give CCS my highest recommendation as a place to work, access services or volunteer. read more
