We visited for a round of Cat Bingo. Our group of 8 ranged from teenagers to seniors. Each one of us had a wonderful time! The place is small and that is a plus not a minus. The cats at any given time change as they are all actively up for adoption. The goal is part fundraiser, feline awareness, and overall wholesome fun. We were able to bring in libations of our choosing. Cookies, coffee, and water were complimentary available. We especially enjoyed hearing the history and ongoing mission of the Catfe and Ferndale Cat Rescue. Also, each cat had its own story that we learned and about their unique personalities. Stop in and support the Catfe. It is a great cause and also quite relaxing if you are having a bit of a day or week.

$10 suggested donation! Adorable little cat cafe with friendly and knowledgeable owners. Come here for the kitten cuddles or potential adoption.

Wow, I really love the ferndale catfe. The staff here is very caring and always friendly with guests. They volunteer their time to help these animals and they are very thankful for donations, etc. I've stopped by a few times and am always so impressed as to how they handle adoptions. Such an innovative way allowing animals to show their personalities instead of being trapped in a cage. I love the fundraising events they hold and the things they sell in store are priced very well and go to a good cause. Last time I was there I picked up some cute socks, can't wait to go back and pick up some more knick knacks ^ . ^

What a great place to feel some love and joy with precious kitties! A much better experience bonding with the cats compared to petting them through a cage.

Terrible experience, the cats all look very sad and the employees yelled at me when I tripped over a water bucket but it wasn't my fault.

Let me start off by saying I have been in the animal welfare community for 20 years. I have work…read morewith many shelters and rescue groups. We currently have a 3 year old large lab that is also a rescue and we're looking to adopt a friend for him. We live in the country on a half acre. We have a 8ft privacy fence in closing our backyard. We drove down over a hour to me one of their rescue. He was a st. Bernard Shepard mix. When we got their we tried to talk with the volunteers and it was like we bothering them. This puppy was in the rescue with his bother and it was immediately apparent that he was dependent the other. I asked several times if they bonded pair and they were very dismissive. We ask how long they have had them them and their response was why would you ask that. After doing a meet and greet we told them we would take them both as we feared they would not do well separate. We put in our application and waited to see when they could do a meet and greet with our lab. After a week and several email their director finally call and was again super dismissive and we almost annoyed that they would have to come to our house. We even offered to do a video walk through. She didn't like that we questioned the fact that we wanted both because of what we saw and how attached they were. She said she would go discuss with the board. This evening she sent an email saying that we would be a great home but we should look at another rescue that was compatible to us. All to say they didn't like us questioning them. In all my years of working with animals I have never see a rescue act like this. I hope that someone there reads this and they reevaluate the way they acted.

I have adopted 3 dogs from Making Miracles since 2013. They are thorough in their background check…read moreof adopters and are very caring with the animals. I have no hesitation recommending this rescue to others.
