He was his doctor after being admitted to the hospital about 3 weeks ago so this is a follow-up While waiting in the exam room, the nurse assistant took vitals. She was pleasant We waited approximately 20 min before Dr Sims came in. He has the BEST bedside manner During the examination he chit-chatted between explaining what and why he was doing what he was doing. He listened to my dad's concerns while referring him to another specialist to address the nausea 6-month follow-up was recommended. The office is roughly 35 min from our home maybe less if traffic is light. There are several doctor offices in this building most are heart specialists If you're in need of a cardiologist, Dr. Sims is your person.

Dr. Pride is amazing. I'd highly recommend him to anyone needing his cardiac services. He arranged things for us at the hospital and he and the hospital liaison personally made sure that my wife had all the special arrangements needed to make her comfortable. Also as a side note - this doctor and practice is extremely LGBT friendly. (note to make this clear to yelp, I was with my wife and experienced all of this myself and am not relying on second hand experiences in writing this review)

I have been with them for about 3 years now and have to say that these people are the most professional, most knowledgeable, and most caring medical professionals that I have ever felt with. They are capable of many types of heart procedures and operations, and they did a few on me that greatly improved my life. They work with me diligently to maintain proper and effective medications for my condition and they are immensely assuring and caring in the way that they work with me. Besides being extremely knowledgeable, his bedside manager was amazing. He explained everything in terms that I understood, took his time, and was very calming and reassuring. I have a couple of doctors at Mayo Clinic, and thought they were the best ever, but Dr Abrahamian was even better. The office was also very efficient at scheduling follow-up tests and working with me to fit my schedule. They also provided me with a written summary of my office visit outlining everything we discussed and tests to be performed. Ellijay is very fortunate to have such a great cardiologist. The staff were helpful and friendly. I was especially impressed with the MRI technician/nurse, Karen. She is skillful, patient and knows how to put people at ease.
