I did a search on Mitsubishi's page looking for the top-rated service folks and Absolute Best Air popped up, and hoo boy am I glad they did. And today, Mason came out to service a verrrry told American Standard installation and did a great job troubleshooting and was very nice/professional. In Atlanta, where it gets above, oh I dunno, like 1,000º F on any given summer day it's important to have good HVAC techs on speed-dial. this company is the one to call. Absolute game changer - found my go-to HVAC company!…read more Calling an HVAC service can usually feel pretty intimidating with the fear of being overcharged, but Evans Air Conditioning completely earned my trust. Their speed was unreal. I called them at 9:45 AM, and he was at my front door by 10:00 AM. Within 5 minutes of arriving, he pinpointed the exact issue. The customer service was top-tier, and the pricing was more than fair. They also offer a fantastic preventative maintenance plan that includes bi-annual system clean-outs, discounts on parts if repairs are needed, and zero service fees if you ever need to call them out during the year. It's a huge relief to finally feel like I have an "AC Guy" I can truly rely on. I highly recommend Evans Air Conditioning to anyone who needs system repairs or routine servicing!

BEWARE‼BEWARE‼BEWARE‼ I contacted this company because my AC…read morestopped blowing cold air. "Arnold" came out, looked at it, and said the Freon was low. He added about 4oz and charged me $450. The problem was never fixed. Afterwards, he told me the compressor was bad and quoted $1,500 to replace it. He even suggested I could get the part myself or let him buy one. The next business day, I decided to reach out to the manufacturer instead. They sent out an authorized dealer who properly diagnosed the issue. The compressor was completely fine--the real problem was the coil in the attic. Since it was under warranty, I only had to pay $550 for labor. The coil was replaced and my AC has been working perfectly ever since. What's worse, the technician from the manufacturer told me that my compressor had actually been overcharged with Freon--it never needed Freon in the first place, and he had to release the excess. If I had trusted "Arnold," I would have spent $1,500 on a compressor I didn't need and still had no working AC. Very disappointing experience. Be careful.
