My family already has a go-to place for both pizza and subs, so we most likely won't become regulars, but I believe that you won't be disappointed by their Italian sub.

Probably thought I was crazy asking to take pictures for my review, is YELP only a NY thing? I had 3 soft tacos- carnitas, lingua and pastor. They were made in a flash and were very good. Red sauce nice kick. A large case held self serve by the pound whole chicaron. I took a few crispy hunks, should have taken a few pounds instead - so good! 30 seconds off Delaware Tpk.

The hostess was extremely nice and welcoming. There was a cover charge, but she asked if we were locals and we told her yes, and they didn't charge us. I see why this place is always busy! The food was excellent. The chimichangas are the best in the area in my opinion. Complimentary chips and salsa is always a plus and they refilled them as well (always appreciated). The drinks were strong and made well (also greatly appreciated). We had a few different servers so we didn't get to really talk to anyone too much but they were all very stoic. My boyfriend and I always like to chat it up with the servers to get a real feel of the place. The restaurant business is tough and we respect that. Fortunately, Casa mariachi definitely earned our respect that night. Can't wait to return.

The building…read morelooks like it was a bank in the past and they kept the drive thru, which is very convenient. Plenty of parking was found in the large parking lot surrounding the building. The outside doesn't look like much, but the inside is nicely done. The inside has tiled floors and a lot of Italian decorations on the walls. The seating arrangement in the front room consists of high tables and regular seating tables for four. The back dining area had more of an intimate feel. The pizza/oven area in the front had a lot of Sicilian decorations on the glass top. I enjoyed the wonderful aroma of wood coming from the brick oven which is to the right of the baker's pride oven. Food wise we ordered lunch and dinner to go. The lunch was cheesesteaks and Italian hoagies. Both were ok. The Italian hoagie needed more meat, but the rolls and ingredients were fresh. The cheesesteak was full of sliced meat, but in my opinion needed more cheese. The pizza's we ordered were a plain and pepperoni well done and the recommended thin Sicilian by the owner Joe. The round pizza had a soft doughy crust, ok sauce and a nice ratio of cheese/sauce. The pepperoni needed more meat on it. I think both were just fine. The thin Sicilian had some oil drizzled on it before it was boxed up. That pizza went fast and was a hit with everyone! I really enjoyed it, the sauce was tangy, cheese was delicious and the flavors kept you coming back for more. I enjoyed chatting with Joe. He was a nice guy and runs a great operation. They were extremely busy on a Saturday night with orders and the dining area looked to have lots of happy patrons. I'll be returning to try his brick oven pizza!! Thanks Joe!

She blamed the kitchen and did not offer to heat up the food. Fast forward to last Friday night. Once again lukewarm food. I don't know what the problem is. There was only one other party there so no excuse for the kitchen serving lukewarm food. The absolute deal breaker was the ladies room. The toilet bowl looked like it had not been cleaned in weeks. There are tiles missing from the wall. Overall it just wasn't very clean. The service was also pretty bad. I don't know why they can't get their act together. The food is really good. It feels like a lack of care on the part of the owners.
