My Sister had a wedding at The Loft on September 30, 2017. The grounds were well maintained, the…read moreindoor reception area was beautiful and held plenty of people. The owner wasn't there for the wedding but she was pleasant to work with throughout the weeks leading up to the wedding. However, the lady that was there that helped us, I think her name was Jennifer, was absolutely terrible. She tried to control the wedding by telling us who and who could not walk down the aisle. She was constantly trying to dictate how the wedding was performed. We finally had to tell her that we didn't need her input. Later in the evening, my Mom walked into the kitchen and Jennifer was legitimately stealing food. There was a lot of Salsa and she was taking the salsa from a container and putting it in a personal jar. Her response was "You walked in at the wrong time." We also had to clean everything from taking out trash to wiping counters and mopping the kitchen. I think a lot of it was the responsibility of the employees but I'm not sure on that. Jennifer was extremely dishonest and made the wedding ceremony a little bit of a nightmare. Three stars were given just because of The Loft being a nice place and well decorated. Also, the kitchen is really dirty and greasy.

The communication before the event was top-notch, and the organization and leadership at the event really made the whole day PERFECT! Our Dj was Ryan. He worked so closely with the Bride and Groom before the event that he was almost like family on the big day! He made their perfect day come to life! Energetic, organized, great communicators, polite, and engaging, and they had the foresight to advise us of concerns, ideas, and solutions that we certainly would never have thought of! 10 Stars

I called to reserve a log splitter and specifically asked, more than once, when the 24 hour rental window started. The guy told me that it was from when I picked it up and went for 24 hours. So on Friday, we didn't rush to get it. When my husband got there at 11, they informed him it had to be back by open the next morning. If we had been told that, we would have picked it up at opening time. I called them to ask them to extend it for the promised 24 hours and they just said, sorry, they had booked it for Saturday and it had to be back. I told them what I had been promised numerous times over the phone, and the guy on the phone even confirmed that I had been told that, but, no, it had to be back by open the next morning. I asked what they were going to do to make it right and they said nothing. I asked if they would instead just charge us for a 4 hour rental and he said, sure, if we had it back in 4 hours! They are more interested in the extra few bucks for a 24 hour rental than in taking care of customers.
