This place might be pricey for some but they are very professional and seem to really care about their clients aka kitties. I have tried their grooming and boarding and was not disappointed. My kitty at the tender age of 12 had her first grooming service ever ( I tend to bathe her myself but due to my health complications I couldn't this time). And she came out looking fabulous and she acted like she had a girl's spa day lol. I thought she would hate me afterward but whatever magic they work here is appreciated by their felines and their hoomans.

What a wonderful place! My girl gets so fluffy during the winter time and hacks up hairballs so I try and get her shaved at least once a year. She's a spicy girl and does not like to be held or touched for too long, not even by me.. I've taken her to so many places but she always comes back with an uneven haircut and super stressed out. Not this time though! Her groomer did such a fabulous job and my kitty was so happy afterwards. Ever since being shaved she's been more playful and energetic. I really think her hair was weighing her down but I did not want to take her to the other cat place because they just seemed so careless and did such a bad shave job. Everyone at Cateau Marmont was super helpful and kind and my spicy girl was taken care of! I'll definitely be back!!

The customer service is unmatched. They are extremely friendly and very responsive to any phone calls or text messages that you may send regarding an appointment. In my opinion, it's a very fair charge for grooming, compared to the surrounding area. My little prince was so happy, and looks so cute and is ready for summer! I'm so happy Cateau Marmont is so close to me. I will be using them for all of my services!!

Great cat boarding facility. They are super attentive and true cat lovers. The place is spotless and a wonderland for felines

UPDATE: The response below only further proves what I explained in my review. Part of owning a business is being able to accept that someone had a bad experience, yet I am continuing to be discounted. Unbelievable. I have a domestic short hair kitty who had been shedding a lot and causing my husband to become allergic. I contacted Cateau to see if getting him groomed could help remove some of the dander. I filled out their forms and spoke to a lady who got me all booked in. She explained there was a new groomer starting and they would call me when a space opened up. Fast forward to today, I got a call and brought him in for a bath. Drop off was fast and easy. Picking him up an hour later took some time. I had to wait for 15 mins outside. When I got him home I noticed he had blood on his paw. I was of course super upset and I immediately snapped a photo and emailed the business. The owner of the business called me and expressed there was a new groomer and she was very sorry about what happened. She went on to say that since it was his first time being groomed, he was scared and split his nail by clinging on out of fear. Here's the kicker... she then explained that I should never have brought my cat in to be groomed since he's a short hair. I asked, why on earth did you accept my booking then? Why was I allowed to bring him in if he should never have been groomed? She suggested I put him on a new food to stop the allergies. I am in complete shock.. was I just gaslighted? I was basically told that the injury was my fault for bringing him in the first place. I hung up in tears. $100 spent to bring home an injured cat. Just wow. Terrible.

Before his appointment that morning. He's very scruffy and had some matted fur on his stomach.

Today I brought my cat 9yr old cat Oliver for the first time here at Cateau Marmont for his much-needed bath and grooming. We usually go to a different grooming place in Burbank but they have closed down that location. So after searching for a new grooming place I found this! After reading the reviews I was convinced this was the one. Their website was easy to navigate and making an appointment was super easy. I set up an appointment via text message (yay!) and they respond pretty fast. It was super easy, convenient and I definitely prefer it than phone calls lol. They even kept me updated via text during Oliver's appt. They made me choose between a male lion full mane or a female lion blended mane. I chose the female lion blended mane and it was perfect for Oliver. I like to have his face fur trimmed. He's super happy with his fresh cut! The lion cut service came with a bath and a nail trim. Oliver is a semi-outdoor cat so he does still get fleas, so they gave him flea treatment. They also clean his ears and notified me he has an ear infection. So we made a vet appointment as soon as we got home. I'm super happy with the service and the result! We'll definitely make this a regular visit for Oliver (and my other cat too!) I've also attached a before and after pic of Oliver.

I am soooooo happy with Wallace's haircut! I highly recommend this place. Wallace usually hates being groomed and has to be sedated. Someone referred me to cateau and I'm so glad we came here. Wallace was relaxed during his session and came out looking so cute!!!

I want to give a million stars to Cateau Marmont, Jen, Mac, Kirsten and all the other staffers. I have been boarding my two kids, Sammy and Sissy, there for several years and they always come home very happy with no issues. Last September, I was moving to Mexico and needed to board them for a month. Some days after I dropped them off, I got a call that Sissy had bitten Sam and the wound had gotten infected. They took him to their vet and Sam had to have surgery to clean the wound and insert several drains. For the next week or more, the staff at CM took care of Sammy's drains several times a day, took him back to the vet several times and generally pampered and loved him through his ordeal. They really went above and beyond what any other place would have done, I suspect. Kirsten has been giving my babies lion cuts for years and they are always so beautiful and fragrant and happy when I pick them up. I am so very grateful to the loving hearts who own and work at CM. They are truly the bomb

He received necessary procedures including blood transfusion to stabilize his condition. I did not want to leave him at ER for more tests and observations because I have never had any pets survived ER stays. We did receive blood transfusion and medications which seemed to be working and were told that he needed medical attention in order to survive. Since his regular vet was helpless, I decided to look into alternatives. I found this place on Yelp with raving reviews, and like most pet owners in desperate situations, I decided to give it a try. I first spoke with I believe her name was Lyric. She was very charming and well spoken, and made an appointment immediately. I also recieved a call from Yael after I emailed over my cat's medical records and was told that she thinks my cat simply had urinary track infection and she can help. During our visit, Yael and Lyric worked together and performed a basic exam, then I was told that we need a biofeedback scan which will tell us exactly what's going on. This " procedure " consist of sticking two wet pads somewhere on the underside of my cat, and the wires connected the wet pads to a laptop which supposedly would feed all the information to a program. I thought that seemed overly simple, but I was in a state of panic, I chose to believe it's some advanced science that I didn't understand. I was told that they will rush the result but it will be later that evening or next day. Then Yael proceeded to prescribe a list of remedies which is mostly supplements including a jar of homemade yogurt. The visit, including all the remedies I was told were necessary, came to just under $700. They also only accept cash or Zelle payments, no credit cards. The instruction I was given was to stop the medicationd from ER immediately and only take what was prescribed by Yael, and I did. At home, shortly after I gave my cat what Yael prescribed, he started vomiting violently and was visibly weaker. I call and told Yael what was happening and was met with loud, non-stop yelling, telling me that her remedies were right and I must follow her instructions. The biofeedback report showed pages of colorful breakdown and included readings of "pepsine secretion coefficient" and "small intestine peristalsis function" values, plus "protien metabolism value", "liver fat content value", plus kidney, lung function analysis, even blood circulation system analysis, etc. This program of theirs can read all these from two wet pad sticked to the skin of my cat? I ultimately decided to consult with a licensed vet, and luckily I found Dr. Sharp from a referral, and my cat's conditions improved without complications within days at a quarter of the cost. He is healthy and happy today. As pet parents, we are vulnerable to be taken advantage of when our pets become critically ill. I hope my experience can be helpful to anyone in similar situation and can make proper decisions for both your pets and you.

Because of the cost, I needed some time before bringing my second cat in. During that time my second cat had a medical emergency -- a urinary blockage. I rushed him to the emergency vet, where the bill escalated quickly since everything was out of pocket. The emergency vet suggested that to save money, they could give me my cat's urine sample so my regular vet could run the lab tests instead of running them at the emergency hospital. I immediately called Holistika Vet because they were the only veterinarian I had an established relationship with. I was extremely distressed and crying because the emergency vet had told me there was a 50% chance my cat might not survive and that follow-up with my regular vet would be important. The receptionist told me it was their policy that they could not see my second cat because he had never been examined there before. I explained that I understood the policy but asked if they could at least run the urine tests (which I would pay for) to help us understand what caused the blockage. Unfortunately, I was told they could not do that either and that the tests would have to be done at the emergency hospital. The conversation felt very cold and unsympathetic during a moment that was extremely frightening for me as a pet owner. Fast forward to February 2026 -- I scheduled an appointment for both of my cats. A few days before the appointment I received an email canceling it, stating they would no longer see my pets because I had given attitude to the receptionist during the emergency call months earlier. I went in person to speak with management to explain the situation and my perspective. I was told they had no record of the conversation but were still refusing future care. For me, the most disappointing part of this experience was the lack of compassion during a very serious emergency and the refusal to even run a test that could have helped guide my cat's care. Thankfully, I have since found another holistic veterinarian in Glendale, California who has been incredibly supportive.

When he was returned to my husband, we were told he might have a reaction for a few days. What followed was not a mild reaction. Our cat came home unable to stand, refusing food, clearly in severe pain, and urinating on himself. He had previously received the same vaccine without any side effects. We contacted the clinic immediately and were repeatedly told this was normal. It was not. After four days of watching our cat in agony with no improvement, we called again and were offered a visit with another veterinarian. At that appointment, we were reassured that everything was fine. The veterinarian manipulated his leg to demonstrate that nothing was wrong and even suggested unrelated care. Meanwhile, our cat continued to suffer. After about a month, he was still severely limping and in obvious pain. We called multiple times. When we were finally able to speak with someone, it was suggested that he may have had a pre-existing condition, which was absolutely not true. We then sought a second opinion. An X-ray immediately revealed a broken hip. We were asked whether he had experienced major trauma, such as being hit by a car. Our cat is strictly indoors and had no access to anything that could explain such an injury. Because of the delay, our cat endured prolonged pain, had to be confined for an extended period, and developed additional strain and arthritis in the other leg. We also incurred significant out-of-pocket expenses. We reported the case to the veterinary board. Afterward, Dr. Prabakhar called my husband expressing concern about the situation and potential consequences. The difference between what we were repeatedly told and what was ultimately discovered is devastating. Our concerns were consistently dismissed while our cat was suffering. Based on this experience, we strongly warn other pet owners not to trust this clinic with serious medical concerns and to seek immediate independent opinions.

The foster group (HIT Living Foundation - wonderful people) took her from a high-kill shelter after she was found wandering the streets covered in fleas and ticks and with a lame left leg/paw. She had a brachial plexus avulsion (tearing of the nerves) and wasn't moving the paw, leg or shoulder at all. Any vet will tell you that this is a very hard injury to treat and almost always results in amputation of that leg. Also, in general, Snoop was just not in good physical shape. I found Lori through a recommendation and asked her to come evaluate Snoop after I had been fostering her for about two weeks. I was nervous at first as Snoop is very people scared and only lets my boyfriend and I touch her. Lori, with her wonderful assistant/shaman, Hector (I am not a particularly mystical person but Hector has some super calming influence over animals - even my cat came right up to him and into his lap so I will call him shaman!) came to my home (all covid protocols in) and coaxed Snoop out of her shell and started treating her. Snoop has been getting acupuncture, laser, chiropractic adjustments and B12 shots all from Lori. Snoop looks forward to the visits and is always excited when they come. Also, Lori has trained me quite a bit and I do simple physical therapy exercises with Snoop throughout the week and give Snoop supplements. Honestly all easy stuff that takes about 20 minutes a day. Lori checks in in us regularly and we've now been working with her for about 6 weeks. And the results...Snoop is a different dog. She just started using her shoulder again and regaining some of the feeling in her leg although she still can't walk on it. But she is now full of energy and running around and navigating on three legs quite nicely. She's healthy and filled out and a puppy again. She also can pick up her leg more so she's not dragging the paw around all the time and I don't have to wrap in the house or backyard (only for walks or when we leave). Even if she doesn't regain full use of that leg/paw again, it's been totally worth it. Snoop won't need it amputated and the use of her shoulder is so great. She's also just so healthy and happy now. However, our fingers and crossed and we are still working on getting that paw working. Thanks Lori!
