You can tell each item was hand selected for its quality. Having grown up in Newport, it can be hard to find many local shops in smaller towns that sell good quality baby/ kids items as perhaps maybe most felt like the market for it isn't there-- but it is! The prices might seem high for some items, but you're paying for top quality, well made items that will last. They carry some items we've found online, like the Slumberkins line, but it's so much better to be able to buy locally- not to mention be able to touch and feel them. I can't speak for how the shop is/ was with kids, as we didn't have any with us when we visited but I will say the two ladies that were working were absolutely pleasant and very helpful. Right next door to other shops and plenty of parking, the store has a large selection of anything you want for a game night of any kind, from casual games to gateway games to the longer games which will take several hours. Each fur color has a different texture and truly shows the unique fur each animal has. They had several items like toys, sweaters, slippers, hats and stuffed animals that were the epitome of adorable.
